46th Annual Snowball Derby Just Days Away
The end of the year is on the horizon, and the 2013 Racing Season is in the rear view. But wait!! The best has yet to come. The 46th Annual Snowball Derby presented by Jegs is just days away and the anticipation is at an all time high. The regular season has been stellar here at 5 Flags Speedway, with plenty of action, some first time Winners, some first time Champions, new track records, and of course, a few crash and burns along the way. Quite a year indeed. So why should we expect anything different at the Snowball? This year’s Derby is boasting the strongest entry list in recent memory. Seven Divisions of racing, over 700 laps of action. At last Saturday’s Snowball Derby Preview presented by Sit-N-Charge, 98 cars took practice laps. Race days are expected to triple that number. Ocala, FL- The inaugural Leftovers Classic at Bubba Raceway Park hosted the Bubba Army Mini Sprints, Hobby Stocks, 1-800-ASK GARY Thunder Stocks, TQ Late Models, and Rent-N-Roll Gladiators in a wonderful Sunday show.
Eagle Jet Top Gun Sprints will return for their final appearance at East Bay Raceway Park in 2013 on Saturday, December 7th. Buddy’s Home Furnishings will be the presenting sponsor for the $1,000.00 to win feature event.

FAYETTEVILLE, TN— Two time Southern All Star Champion Chris Madden is going to start liking rain delayed races if this keeps up as he now has won his second rained delayed Southern All Star event of the year by capturing the 23rd Annual Blue/Gray 100 for the 4th time in his racing career. Earlier this season with the Southern All Stars the series was at Volunteer Speedway when rain stopped the action on lap 17 with Madden on top. The series came back three weeks later and Madden came out the winner of the that event, now he is back in victory lane one week later claiming the $10,000 first place check.

We had 24 Late Models take the grren flag for the season finale Sunday at Auburndale Speedway. Jesse Dutilly was the race. We also ran several other classes.
On Sunday Brooksville’s Daniel Webster battled a ignition box failure, a jumped restart, and numerous cautions to capture the 2013 FUP Championship over race winner Jessie Dutilly. The pair of series regulars took it down to the final laps with a green white checkered for the battle, Dutilly was able to get the lead and hang on for his 1st win of the season, while Webster a 3 time winner this year took the championship by forty points over Dutilly. Rounding out the top ten in the points battle in third was Billy Bigley Jr., Randy Anderson who also captured the 2013 Sunoco Rookie of the Year award, Wayne Anderson, Dylan Bigley, Anthony Cataldi, Todd Brown, Jonathan Guy, and Troy McNabb. The series will hold the 2013 banquet on Saturday January 4th, 2014 at the Abacoa Golf Club located in Jupiter, FL
November 23, 2013 – Tampa, FL – It was the tune up race for the Gagel’s Open Wheel Modifieds before the Reutimann Foundation 50 for the Modifieds next Saturday night. Also racing were the Limited Late Models, Outlaw Fours, Motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bombers and the Florida Old Time Modifieds.
