7-21-12 Ocala, FL – The Scorpion Racing Products Modifieds, 1-800-ASK GARY Thunderstocks, Buddy’s Home Furnishings Limited Late Models, Hobby Stocks, Barfield Law Group Mini Stocks, and the Rent-N-Roll Gladiators were on deck but not everyone got to bat.

Barfield Law Group Mini Stocks started the night off with a bang as Buddy Pope shot to the top spot. Pope promptly lost the left rear wheel on lap 2 and collected Shirlene Hammond, Charlie Staats, and “Rockin” Reid Christensen. Only Pope would retire as he left Zach Amundsen the lead. (more…)

Ocala, FL – On Friday night the stars of the Scorpion Racing Products Modified ranks take to the clay as they look to be the best. The 1-800-ASK GARY Thunderstocks, Buddy’s Home Furnishings Limited Late Models, and Barfield Law Group Mini Stocks will join them and entertain like no one else can.

Kyle Bronson dominated early but the last 5 features have had 5 different winners from 3 teams. Bronson has led in nearly every feature and 2 of his losses have come from mechanical failures. Bronson is a heavy favorite but Rich Pratt knows how to win the big money- he won last year’s One Last One For PJ Wiggins! Pratt will have to get back on track and also hold off Dalton Lanich. Lanich is very quiet but makes plenty of noise with his underfunded #77 from the Kent Corbin shop. (more…)

7-10-12  Ocala, FL – Bubba Raceway Park returns this Saturday with the RaceCar Engineering Late Models, Buddy’s Home Furnishings Limited Late Models, Hobby Stocks, 1-800-ASK GARY Thunderstocks, and the Rent-N-Roll Gladiators but let’s take a look back on the season so far.

The RaceCar Engineering Late Models started 2012 off much like 2011 ended- Ivedent Lloyd, Jr. smiling in Coors Light Victory Lane. This race held on March 3^rd would also be Lawton Minchew’s final race at Bubba Raceway Park before his untimely passing just a few weeks later. The next week Mark Whitener struck back in his Barry Wright chassis with a big win while Jason Fitzgerald surprised with a runner-up finish. Lloyd held the points lead with a 6^th place finish. After a break they returned on the 31^st and Richard Ferry put his Snow Bros. 17 in Coors Light Victory Lane by holding off ‘Dent in a magnificent race. (more…)

“The Magic Man” Mark Whitener has been left without competition it seems as he has dominated the past 2 races. Bo Allen has been giving chase but still lacks the hardware after a hard win. Other competitors like “Cheddar” Christian Augspurger, Richard Ferry, and Bryan Bernhardt have been trying their hardest to join Allen in the fight against Big Frog and the 58 team. And, never count out Ivedent Lloyd, Jr. if he is healthy and has a car. It will be tough to beat the best one at a time. (more…)

“The Magic Man” Mark Whitener has set up a smoke screen himself and has the Dave’s Towing #58 out in front. He returns after a big win in the Florida State Late Model Championship and will try to hold off the threats from “The Grim Reaper” Bo Allen and his Palmer Toyota team. Allen has his own battle with “Cheddar” Christian Augspurger and a good show is in store. Ivedent Lloyd, Jr. and Richard Ferry are close to the top and both know how to win at Bubba Raceway Park. Never count out a Nosbisch as 10 drivers could enter as favorites. (more…)
