“The Magic Man” Mark Whitener has been left without competition it seems as he has dominated the past 2 races. Bo Allen has been giving chase but still lacks the hardware after a hard win. Other competitors like “Cheddar” Christian Augspurger, Richard Ferry, and Bryan Bernhardt have been trying their hardest to join Allen in the fight against Big Frog and the 58 team. And, never count out Ivedent Lloyd, Jr. if he is healthy and has a car. It will be tough to beat the best one at a time. (more…)

The Vortex Theory

By- Jim Rouse, BRP Media

Gambles were the theme for the RaceCar Engineering Late Models, Scorpion Racing Products Modifieds, Buddy’s Home Furnishings Limited Late Models, 1-800-ASK GARY Thunderstocks, and Barfield Law Group Mini Stocks.

First out were the Scorpion Modifieds with a thrilling 20-lapper. David Reutimann led lap 1 but could not check out on Rich Pratt and Garret Stewart. On lap 8 “The Killer” Kyle Bronson spun and made contact with “Gunslinger” Stewart. “Gunslinger” would keep his position of 3rd behind leader Reutimann and Pratt. Bronson had moved up to 6th after 3 laps when Jim Passino spun the 34 machine and nearly collected Ron Burgess who did receive his spot back. Up front “Reuti” continued to lead “Gunslinger” and Pratt who had recently traded spots. (more…)

“The Magic Man” Mark Whitener has set up a smoke screen himself and has the Dave’s Towing #58 out in front. He returns after a big win in the Florida State Late Model Championship and will try to hold off the threats from “The Grim Reaper” Bo Allen and his Palmer Toyota team. Allen has his own battle with “Cheddar” Christian Augspurger and a good show is in store. Ivedent Lloyd, Jr. and Richard Ferry are close to the top and both know how to win at Bubba Raceway Park. Never count out a Nosbisch as 10 drivers could enter as favorites. (more…)
