Southern All Stars Will Once Again Officiate 2014 Ice Bowl At TST
FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series has been once again selected to officiate the 2014 Ice Bowl Jan 2-5 at the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL.
The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series the longest running touring Super Late Model series in the country will handle all technical and race procedures for the Super Late Models as well at the Sportsman/Limited Late Models. The Super will compete in a $6,000 to win $500 to start 50 lap event that will utilize the following rules: Open Motors will weight 2300 lbs while all other motors will weight 2250 lbs. Tires will be ANY 11×92 max. 1 lb per lap burn off, Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series body rules apply and all cars will utilize an 8 inch spoiler. Entry fee is $100.
Thursday & Friday will be open practice for the Super Late Models as well as tech and registration will open on Friday. Then on Saturday the Super Late Models will qualify and run heat. Sunday there will be Last Chance races along with the 50 lap main event. (more…)
