SEASON AWAITS NeSMITH CHEVROLET DLMS COMPETITORS AT BUBBA RACEWAY PARK
CARTERSVILLE, GA – A new season awaits NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series competitors as the 2014 season for the Touring Division opens with five races in five straight nights in the Bubba’s Army Winternationals at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL on January 28 through February 1.
The first four races will be $2,000-to-win 40-lap events on January 28, 29, 30 and 31, and the finale on February 1 will be a 50-lap event paying $3,000-to-win. Drivers will earn NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division points from their best totals in three of the five races.
The dawn of a new season raises a plethora of new and unanswered questions that may take the entire season to be revealed. Who will emerge as the 2014 NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series title contenders? Who will be the new faces running for the coveted NeSmith Cup in 2014?
The Bubba’s Army Winternationals races will set the stage in the battle for the 2014 $20,000 NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Championship. A total of 72 drivers competed in the Bubba’s Army Winternationals for the NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS last year, and two drivers were able to carry their momentum earned in the five events throughout the 2013 season. WAYCROSS, GA (January 16, 2014) – The anticipation and excitement is building as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series kicks off the 2014 season with the Georgia Boot Super Bowl of Racing at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, GA. The stars and cars of the LOLMDS are set to invade the 4/10 mile South Georgia speed-plant for three action packed nights of racing on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 6th, 7th and 8th. There will also be an open practice night on Wednesday February 5thfor all divisions.

WAYCROSS, GA (January 7, 2014) – Officials of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series are excited to announce that Georgia Boot has signed on as the title sponsor of the 2014 season opening weekend at Golden Isles Speedway on February 6th, 7th and 8th in Brunswick, GA. The Georgia Boot “Super Bowl of Racing”, sanctioned by the LOLMDS, will consist of three full nights of racing at GIS and an open practice night on Wednesday, Feburary 5th. Both Fridaynight and Saturday night’s events will be the first “points” events of the 2014 season for the LOLMDS. Friday and Saturday’s events will also be filmed by the Lucas Oil Production Studios for broadcast on the MAVTV Network in 2014.

The Limited Late Models and Scorpion Modifieds will each race for $1000 and the 1-800 ASK GARY Thunder Stocks and Hobby Stocks each have $2000 on the line.
