Punta Gorda Speedway Returns to Action with Super Late Models for 100 Laps on March 3rd

The season is now about to heat up. Make your plans to be here Saturday Night March 3rd to witness all of the door to door ground pounding action.
Super Late Models going 100 laps, Pro Trucks, Rookie Trucks, Road Warriors, Cowboy Cadillac, Pro 4, and the Champ Karts.

Tickets are $10.00 for adults, $8.00 for seniors with 12 and under free.
Grandstand gates open at 4pm with racing around 6pm.
Our concession is second to none with our Big Daddy Pork Tenderloin Sandwich and the Fried Bologna is sure to please. So bring the family for some great food and awesome entertainment at an affordable price.

Putnam Speedway to reopen with new promoter

Putnam County Speedway is currently undergoing reorganization. Mr. & Mrs. Bob McClelland are no longer associated with the track and a new promoter will be coming in shortly. Please be stay tuned for upcoming details, events and schedule.

We truly appreciate everyone’s participation and support this year and look forward to an entertaining and successful 2nd half of the 2011 Racing Season.

Putnam Speedway Closes Doors

Bob and I would like to to thank all the race car drivers all the race fans and our entire staff for coming out each week to support Putnam Speedway. We tried very hard to to give all of you a “HOME TRACK” that was Fun, Clean, Honest and Safe for your children. Unfortunately as of this week Putnam Speedway will no longer reopen. We just could not seem to get the support needed to operate a profitable track and can no longer continue to pay for race nights out of our own funds. We certainly enjoyed our short time together with all of you and wish everyone our EVERY BEST!!!!

Sparkle N Shine Mobile Detail will be adding $100 to the top three winners in the Gladiators race on May 6th. The breakdown will be an additional $50 to first place,an additional $25 to second and third places.

Putnam County Speedway announces changes to May 6th race program

MODIFIEDS MUST FOLLOW UMP MODIFIEDS RULES. GLADIATORS HAVE BEEN ADDED TO MAY 6TH

Friday May 6th Putnam Speedway will hold a 30 lap $1000.00 to win Modified Race (Modifieds $35 to enter race).

25 lap $500.00 to win Mini Stock race.

Mini’s and all others are $25

All Mini Stocks must weigh 2150 lbs after race with driver and RC4?s.

Also Hobby Stocks & Thunder Stocks will be running too.

Putnam Speedway To Run Friday Nights

Putnam Speedway will be going to Friday Night racing starting April 22nd. Racing will be starting at 8pm.
