CARTERSVILLE, GA – The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series welcomes Kaleb Matthew Turner to its racing family.  Kaleb arrived at 9:59 a.m. this morning and easily passed the post-birth technical inspection by crossing the scales at nine pounds, six ounces, and measuring 21 inches long.

Kaleb’s Daddy is the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division point leader Matthew Turner of Dawsonville, GA, but for this morning’s feature event, his Momma Brandi Turner did all of the work!

Matthew Turner has even more incentive to capture the $20,000 prize that goes to the 2012 NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Champion because as big as Kaleb is, Matthew is going to have to buy a lot of groceries in the coming years. Wagering has already begun as to whether Kaleb is going to be big enough to change his Daddy’s tires in four months’ time at the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series season finale, the 100-lap $10,000-to-win 8^th Annual Chevrolet Performance Parts World Championship Race on November 29-December 1 at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL.
