CARTERSVILLE, GA – The $5,000-to-win 3rd Annual Rumble On The Gumbo 75 is next up for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division on April 11-13 at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS. The NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS will also be bringing the “Ride For Life” two-seat dirt late model to benefit the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
The 3rd Annual Rumble On The Gumbo will be Round 6 of the 2013 NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series and a star-studded field of drivers will be led by point leader Ronnie Lee Hollingsworth of Northport, AL. Hollingsworth won three of the first five races held in late January and early February at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL.
Other top entries expected from the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division include defending National Champion Matthew Turner of Dawsonville, GA, two-time series National Champion David Earl Gentry of Murfreesboro, TN, and Rookie of the Year point leader and early season race winner Kyle Bronson of Brandon, FL.
Turner and Gentry both have NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series career wins at Greenville Speedway. Stokes, Barrett, Harrison, Chad Washington, Chase Washington and Palasini will be donating their time and talent to give race fans an opportunity for six laps at race speed around Greenville Speedway in the two-seat “Ride For Life” dirt late model race car to benefit the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
There are two ways race fans can win the “Ride For Life.” Race fans can purchase raffle tickets and win a drawing for a ride, or they can bid for a ride with their favorite driver during an auction at Greenville Speedway on April 13. American Cancer Society officials will also be raffling off a Yeti Cooler full of special prizes from area merchants and businesses.
The local chapter of the American Cancer Society is also selling Event Collector T-Shirts for $15 apiece for S-XL and $17 for 2X and 3X sizes. The Raffle Tickets for the “Ride For Life” and the Yeti Cooler Fan Pack are currently on sale for $5.00 a apiece.

The action gets underway for the Greenville Speedway 2013 season opener on April 11 with an open practice session on the ¼-mile black gumbo clay oval. The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division will compete in Qualifying and Heat Races to set the front of field for the Rumble On The Gumbo 75 on April 12.
