Wells and Ogle Jr. Make A Straight Shot to Tennessee
The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series takes on Duck River Raceway Park on Friday, April 8 and Tazewell Speedway on Saturday, April 9
CONCORD, N.C. – April 6, 2016 – To this day, Eric Wells still thinks luck played a role in his first World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series victory at Duck River Raceway Park in 2013. But, winning this weekend may prove that it is more than luck.
With the first victory, Wells became the fifth driver in the series’ history to win an A-Main while chasing the Rookie of the Year honor (Fuller (’07), Brian Shirley (’07), Austin Hubbard (’10) and Bub McCool (’12)), which he ended up winning at the end of the 2013 campaign.

Frank Wilson of Milton, FL took on his 13-year-old J.C. Wilson and Branden Harris of Molino, FL raced his dad Ronnie Harris.
Salem, IN (April 6, 2016) – The ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS is set to kick off its 2016 points season with this weekend’s North/South Super Late Model Challenge 125 Presented by Team Construction at the famed Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville ½ mile oval. 2016 will be the 20th season of competition for the ARCA/CRA Super Series that ran its first race on April 26, 1997 at Anderson Speedway.
Lakeland, FL (March 23, 2016) – In an effort to provide a higher car count and a more competitive racing experience for drivers and fans, the Racecar Engineering Wheel Man Series Sportsman race scheduled for April 23rd will be rescheduled for a future date yet to be determined so teams can participate in the Butch Lindley Memorial Sportsman race at Desoto Speedway. COCHRAN, GA – Riley Hickman of Cleveland, TN drove the Hickman Manufacturing CVR to a clean sweep Sunday night in the RockAuto.com Winter Shootout Finale for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series at Cochran Motor Speedway. Hickman set Fast Time to earn the pole position for the main event, and then led all 50 laps to take his four career win with the series.
