BARBERVILLE, FL- Racers had a lot to prove as they took to the big half mile clay oval at Volusia Speedway Park on Saturday night, and while some used the night to make bold statements as to their dominance, others failed to get their point across to the other racers and fans. Controversy has swirled in two divisions over the previous week, and those involved in the fray may have done their best to sort it all out, but only managed to stir the pot further. (more…)

If you missed the last six pack race when 24 cars took to the track, make sure you dont miss this one!
This weekend its the return of the Super late Models,Goodyear 6 pack #2.
The weekend will begin with practice and a pit party on Friday night. Gates open at 4PM on Friday with practice till 9:30 or 10:00, then sit down with us for a real southern style BBQ.
Cost is $15.00 per person that includes practice, $10.00 per person if you don’t want dinner.
Saturday Pit gates open at Noon with Super late practice beginning at 2:30.
The Goodyear Late Model 6 Pack series returns for 100 laps along with 3 rd Annual “Fast” Freddie Stutz Memorial were the T.Q. Midgets run for 26 laps in honor of Freddie’s number 6, Road Warriors, Pro 4, Fab 4, Super Stocks and Mini Stocks.
Front gates open Saturday at 5:00pm with racing to start at 6:00 pm.
All this racing for only $10.00 so bring a friend and come hungry, great food and ice cold drinks and some of the best racing in the state.
That is why Punta Gorda Speedway is the place to be on Saturday Night!!!
Admission is only $10.00 for Adults, $8.00 for seniors, children 12 and under are FREE.

Sparkle N Shine Mobile Detail will be adding $100 to the top three winners in the Gladiators race on May 6th. The breakdown will be an additional $50 to first place,an additional $25 to second and third places.
First place=$80
Second= $45
Third= $40

25 lap $500.00 to win Mini Stock race.

All Mini Stocks must weigh 2150 lbs after race with driver and RC4?s.
Also Hobby Stocks & Thunder Stocks will be running too.
