UDLMCS Announces New Schedule, Expansion & Sponsor

The United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series, fastest growing late model series in the south, is proud to announce Sunoco Race Fuels will be the title sponsor for the series in 2010.

“Sunoco is a name synonymous with auto racing and we are extremely proud to have Sunoco as a marketing partner in the coming season”, stated series promoter Ken Kinney, Jr.

With the strength of Sunoco behind it the UDLMCS is making its first major announcement of 2010. The series will now feature two divisions with a 10 race Northern Region and a 10 race Southern Region. The Northern Region will have nine races in Georgia and one in Alabama with the Points Championship paying a $10,000 prize. The Southern Region will feature 10 races in Florida also featuring a $10,000 Championship prize. (more…)

Auburndale Speedway Gears Up for New Year’s Eve Crash N’ Bash

Auburndale Speedway will ring out the old year in style Thursday night with a special New Years Eve Crash N’ Bash followed by a big party to ring in 2010.

Fans will be treated to four racing events: A big Enduro race, School Bus Figure Eight racing, Pro Figure Eight Racing and a big Demolition Derby.

The entry fee for the Enduro has been cut to $50 for this event to make it more affordable for the competitors. All entry fee money will be used to pay the winner while the track will also pay second and third place. The Enduro is open to all 4, 6 and 8 cylinder cars, however no Street Stock or Bomber style cars are permitted. (more…)

New Smyrna Speedway Kicks Off 2010 Race Season with the Red Eye 100 on January 2nd

Samsula, FL (December 23, 2009) New Smyrna Speedway will open their 2010 season on January 2, 2010 with the Red Eye 100. This will be l00 laps of Super Late Model action along with the Super Stock, Mini Stock and Strictly Stock.

“We are very excited about the Red Eye 100,” said Operations Manager Kim Brown. “It is a perfect way to start off our 2010 season and get alittle extra practice in before the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing kicks off on February 5th.”
