Super Six For One Thousand

Jim Rouse, Bubba Raceway Park Media

Scorpion Racing Products UMP DirtCar Open-Wheel Modifieds return as do the Top Gun Sprint Cars, Hobby Stocks, 1-800-ASK GARY Thunderstocks, Barfield Law Group Mini Stocks, and Rent-N-Roll Gladiators. Six of the toughest divisions at Bubba Raceway Park will attack the track and run for more of those valuable points and the $1000 prize on Night Of A Thousands!

Kyle Bronson’s winning streak went up in a cloud of smoke. A pretty big cloud too. Bronson holds a 15 point lead over Rich Pratt and hopes to build upon it while Pratt looks to steal some momentum from his strong run in the Late Model and maybe get that first win of 2012 and end the Hammond Motorsports reign. Jim Cowhey Jr. who started 12th made his way up to grab the 2nd spot with a last lap, last corner bump and run move on Tim Sozio who would hang on for third after running a good smooth race. (more…)

Webster Dominates Super Late Model Field at Citrus County Speedway

Daniel Webster (33) returned to Citrus County Speedway this past Saturday night after running some out of town tracks the past month. Webster took his talents north, to Anderson, IN to run in the ARCA/CRA super series. Webster had never even seen the track before, and managed to survive one of the toughest tracks in the Midwest. Webster came home with a solid 6th place finish against some of the best driving talent in the country. Webster then visited another track he had seen before, but never driven. Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola was his next stop for one of the Blizzard 100 races that lead up to the well know Snowball Derby. Again Webster ran well inside the top 10, before a crash with 2 laps to go, collected him ending his night. (more…)

Just Can’t Get Enough

By- Jim Rouse, Bubba Raceway Park Media

RaceCar Engineering Late Models, Buddy’s Home Furnishings Limited Late Models, 1-800-ASK GARY V-8 Thunderstocks, Barfield Law Group Mini Stocks, and a Spectator Race will all run at Bubba Raceway Park this week-end and the last 2 weeks have seen surprises throughout.

The RaceCar Engineering Late Models make their return and up front there’s no surprise- Ivedent Lloyd, Jr. is still taking the field to school. However, Richard Ferry and Bo Allen sit just behind him and could strike if misfortune hits the driver of the #21. Ferry has shown that he can beat the man who qualfied 5th in the World of Outlaws just last week-end and would love to put his #17 back in victory lane. Allen hasn’t hit the gold yet but top 5s lead to wins. Mark Whitener sits in 4th waiting patiently to make a charge as does Bryan Bernhardt who has made significant improvements throughout the past few months. (more…)
