FASTRAK “Wild and Wonderful 50” National Event Finds 2012 FASTRAK World Champion Max Blair in Victory Lane
Mineral Wells, West Virginia – The last time the FASTRAK Racing Series visited “The Speedplant” West Virginia Motor Speedway was in October 2010, Jonathan Davenport won the event and at time the track was 5/8th mile. There has been many changes since the last race, the track was configured to 4/10th a mile, track still made wide enough for exciting “Wild and Wonderful” racing.
The race proved the same May 11th as 34 FASTRAK Late Models teams “rang the bell” in drastic weather conditions. Where many tracks pulled the plug because of rain early, Lynn Chapman and company at WVMS we’re committed in doing any and everything to get the “Wild and Wonderful 50” for $5,000 to win successful, what a race it was!! This Saturday May 18th the Florida United Promoters Series will travel to Citrus County Speedway for the third race for The Sportsman, Pro-Trucks and Open Wheel Modified’s. The Sportsman and Trucks are primed and ready for this weekends racing after being rained out at Bronson this past Saturday. Leading the points in the sportsman, Brandon Morris will be trying to expand his lead on runner up James Wright III, Craig Cuzzone, Bobby Mobley & others.

La Salle, IL (May 11, 2013) – Brady Smith edged out fellow Wisconsin driver, Jimmy Mars by just a few inches at LaSalle Speedway on Saturday Night in winning the Jeff’s Enginemasters Spring Shootout. It was Smith’s first Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series win since 2008. Trailing Smith and Mars to the finish line in the $10,000 to win race was John Blankenship, Chris Simpson, and Don O’Neal.
Bronson Speedway will host FL United Promoters Series presented by Tuffy Auto Service of Jonesville this Saturday May 11th with the running of the Blackwater Integration Sportsman 50, the Alan Jay Automotive Network Pro-Trucks 50 presented by the Joey Coulter Charity 200 Racing for a Cure, and the FUPS Legends and Bando’s. This will be the first visit to the track know as Florida’s Premier High Bank Short Track for FL United Promoters Series Teams. We are pleased to have Bronson agree to hosting this event as we continue to expand the FUPS Brand to different venues in Florida, stated series director Rick Williams.
