NeSMITH PERFORMANCE PARTS STREET STOCK DIVISION ROUND UP FOR MAY 6
CARTERSVILLE, GA – Trey Bright of Coker, AL and Josh Stringer of Foxworth, MS were the big winners in NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 6 action on Saturday night. Jarrod Fremin of Montz, LA continues to lead the point standings and holds an 11 point lead over Kevin Spears of Fayette, AL and Chad Hiers of Ocean Springs, MS who are tied for second.
Driving the AKA Cores Chevrolet, Bright topped a 34-car field on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS to pick up his third NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division win of the season. Bright is fourth in the point standings, 12 behind Fremin and one point behind Spears and Hiers.
Stringer drove the Sauls Farms Chevrolet to his first NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division win of the 2013 season on Saturday night at St. Tammany Raceway in Lacombe, LA. Fremin has 167 points after one win and four top five finishes in four starts. Fremin had a second-place finish on Saturday night at St. Tammany Raceway in Lacombe, LA driving the Fremin Racing Chevrolet.

CARTERSVILLE, GA – Southern Raceway in Milton, FL is returning to the NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man’s Garage Weekly Racing Series for the 2013 season. Southern Raceway officials are currently putting together a schedule for their Crate Late Model Division during the 27-week season for the series that runs from March 25 through September 29.
