2nd Annual Bryan Storer Memorial 115

2013_Bryan_Storer_Memorial_Flyer_one_pageThis Saturday July 20th the FL United Promoters Series presents the 2nd Annual Bryan Storer Memorial 115 at Auburndale Speedway. This event is hosted by the Storer and Macy Families to commemorate the memory of Brian who raced for many years here in Florida. Last years inaugural event won by Daniel Webster who also was the last winner at Auburndale for the FUPS race on June 22nd will be on hand to defend his victory. He will be chased by FUPS regulars, points leaded Wayne Anderson, Jesse Dutilly, home track “Fast Man” Jonathan Guy, Billy Bigley Jr, Anthony Cataldi, Jake Perkins, Randy Anderson, and many more. The FUPS Legends & Bandolers will be joined by the Mod Mini’s, V-8 Bombers, Scramblers, and Street Stocks for the nights action.
The track will have open practice on Friday night from 5pm-10pm. with a cookout for everyone compliments of Auburndale Speedway. Sat. pit gates will open at 12pm., tech at 1:00, practice 2-5:15pm. qualifying at 6pm, racing at 7pm.. Sunday 7/21 will be the rain date for this event, this race the tire impound rule is in effect, plan on purchasing your tires from Auburndale Speedway. Two Nights of Racing at Bronson Speedway

Bronson FlyerThis weekend Bronson Speedway will host the rescheduled rain out from May 11th for the FL United Promoters Series and on Friday night they will run the make up for their rained out show from June 29th.” This will be a great opportunity for the FUPS teams to dial in their hot rods on Friday night to get ready for the 50 lappers on Saturday” stated series director Rick Williams.
Friday Night’s Racing schedule will have Sportsman, Pure Stock, Strictly Stock, Pro Truck, Legends, Bandolaros, Spectator Race and BIG WHEELS. Pit Gate Opens for Parking/Scales/Tires @ 4:30PM.
**Early Arrivals will be allowed to Park Haulers in Pits** Grandstand and Sign In/ Registration Opens @ 5:30PM
Pit Fee Admission $25.00, Practice @ 6:00PM,Racing Starts @ 8PM **Overnight Parking Permitted.
Saturday’s show presented by Tuffy’s Tire & Auto Center of Jonesville will feature the FL United Promoters Series double 50 lap races for the Alan Jay Automotive Group Pro Trucks and the Racecar Engineering Sportsman along with the Legends, Bandolaros, Pure Stocks, Strictly Stocks, and a 2nd night for the Kid’s Big Wheels. Triple 50’s on Tap for Auburndale

FUPS Logo BigThis Saturday June 29th the FL United Promoters Series will return to “The Dale” for Triple 50’s for the Alan Jay Automotive Group Pro Trucks, Racecar Engineering Sportsman, and the Sunoco Open Wheel Mod’s. With only twenty three points separating the top seven pro trucks this weeks race should be a good one as points leader Steve Darvalics will be chased by Jessica Green, Rebecca Monopoli, Dustin Dunn, Jessica Murphy, Citrus winner Dylan Martin and many more.
The Open Wheel division will have Florida’s Best chasing points leaded Travis Roland. Expected are Wayne Jefferson, LJ Grimm, Josh Todd, Devin McLeod, Roger Blevins and more. In the Sportsman division the call is out can anyone beat Brandon Morris after winning the last two races. Season opener winner Bobby Mobley will be trying to capture his 2nd win of the season. Craig Cuzzone in his sleek looking #88 will contend with James Wright III, Kyle Maynard, Cody Johnson, Scott Garrity, Jay Curry, Cody McDuffie and a host of others.

Webster Captures Regal Kia Chevy 100

1048686_604543276246694_1521683533_oThe Florida United Promoters Series after two months without a race, finally got one in at the tight 1/4 mile Auburndale Speedway on Saturdaynight with the running of the Regal Kia Chevy 100. With eighteen super late models on hand there was some good racing going on and Brooksville’s Daniel Webster hung on for his first series win in any touring group. By the inversion of the redraw, Ft. Lauderdale’s Patrick Starpoli started on the point with series regular Jessie Dutilly on the outside of the front row. Starpoli would set sail and lead the first twenty one laps before an ill handling car cost him the lead giving way to Webster. The always smooth young gun Webster took the lead and was never challenged, Dutilly and series points leader Wayne Anderson got close by had nothing for the #33 Webster’s Race Cars Chevrolet. Following Webster across the strip were, Anderson, Dutilly, Jonathan Guy and Billy Bigley who both came from the rear to complete the top five. (more…)

Can Anyone Stop Wayne Anderson!

FUPS Logo BigAfter two consecutive rained out events the Florida United Promoters Series will return to Auburndale Speedway this Saturday nightJune 22nd for the Regal Kia Chevy 100. With the May 4th and the Powell Family Memorial two weeks ago getting beat by the weather the FUPS competitors are itching to get back racing on Rex Guy’s tight 1/4 mile track that always generates excitement.
With series points leader Wayne Anderson leading the charge this season with four victories, the cry is out “Can Anyone Stop Him”. On hand to challenge the sleek Black & Orange #84 from Wildwood will be and hand full of young guns and veterans from around the state. leading the veterans will be Jessie Dutilly, Billy Bigley Jr., Todd Brown, David Green, Joe Winchell, Troy McNabb, Eddie King, Joe Boyd. The youngsters will include, recently new father Jonathan Guy, Daniel Webster, Randy Anderson, Anthony Cataldi, Dylan Bigley, Jessica Murphy, and others.
The Legends and Bandolero’s along with Street Stock, V-8 Bombers, & Scramblers will complete the racing action for the night. There will be an open practice on Friday from 5-10pm., pit gate opens on Sat. at 10am. for parking. Grandstands open at 5pm. on Saturday with racing starting at 7:00pm.

Schedule remains the same with open practice scheduled for Friday night from 5pm -9pm. and the pits will open at 10am. on Saturday with grandstands opening at 4pm.. See you there going to be the best show of the year!

Powell Family Memorial Back at Citrus County Speedway

FUPS Logo BigThe running of the 18th Annual Powell Family Memorial with take place Sat. June 8th at track know as “The Friendliest Track in the South” Citrus Co. Speedway. For the last few years the event has been held on dirt and we are honored to have this event back on asphalt at our facility, stated track promoter Don Cretty.
This event will also be race #5 for the FL United Promoters Series, we are thrilled to have been able to make this all work for the Powell Family, the track and the series, commented series director Rick Williams. James and I have been friends for a long time and we are so glad to host this event for him and his family, added Williams.
Past winners of The Powell Family Memorial include Jeff Purvis, Freddie Query, David Reutimann, Mike Franklin Jr., Wayne Anderson, Ivedent Lloyd Jr., Johnny Collins, and James Powell himself. (more…)

FL United Promoters Series Rolls into Citrus County Speedway

20130421-104147.jpgThis Saturday May 18th the Florida United Promoters Series will travel to Citrus County Speedway for the third race for The Sportsman, Pro-Trucks and Open Wheel Modified’s. The Sportsman and Trucks are primed and ready for this weekends racing after being rained out at Bronson this past Saturday. Leading the points in the sportsman, Brandon Morris will be trying to expand his lead on runner up James Wright III, Craig Cuzzone, Bobby Mobley & others.
In the Pro-Trucks, the sleek black #41 of Steve Darvalics will be challenged by a pair of Jessica’s with Green and Murphy right on his tail. Dylan Martin, the only Dodge in the series of Dustin Dunn and a host of others will be on hand for The Alan Jay Automotive Network 50 lap event. The Modified’s will round out the FUPS Triple 50’s with Travis Roland defending his point lead over Josh Todd, LJ Grimm, Roger Blevins, Shawn Harper & Wayne Jefferson.
There will be open practice on Friday 5/17 from 5-9pm., overnight parking is welcome. Saturday pit gates open noon, tech at12:30pm. racing at 5:30pm.

FL United Promoters Series Presented by Tuffy Auto Service of Jonesville this Saturday at Bronson Speedway

FUPS Logo BigBronson Speedway will host FL United Promoters Series presented by Tuffy Auto Service of Jonesville this Saturday May 11th with the running of the Blackwater Integration Sportsman 50, the Alan Jay Automotive Network Pro-Trucks 50 presented by the  Joey Coulter Charity 200 Racing for a Cure, and the FUPS Legends and Bando’s. This will be the first visit to the track know as Florida’s Premier High Bank Short Track for FL United Promoters Series Teams. We are pleased to have Bronson agree to hosting this event as we continue to expand the FUPS Brand to different venues in Florida, stated series director Rick Williams.
Sportsman point leader Brandon Morris who has one win thus far will be battling the challenges of series regulars, James Wright III, Craig Cuzzone, James Mobley, Bobby Hartin, Cody McDuffie and many more. In the Alan Jay Automotive Network Pro-Trucks it will be Jessica Green with a win last month, Jessica Murphy, Dylan Martin, and Mica Williams and a host of others all chasing point leader Steve Darvalics who won the season opener at Auburndale back in March. Legends points leader Kory Abbott will be trying for win  number four this season with Teddy Lively, Danielle Stratton, Becca Monopoli, all trying to break his dominance over the competition. (more…)
