A lot of people have been asking for hotel information for the Bill Bigley Sr. Memorial 128.   We are going tot ry and work on some hotel deals but right now we have not secured any, but here are some close to the track in Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte.  These are all with in a few exits and 10 miles of the track.

Danny Martin Jr.  Had to start to at the back of the pack but was on fire as he worked his way to the front in a dominating win.

After coming of a great weekend last weekend can Danny Martin Jr. go Back to back in the Top Gun Sprint Series as the invade Putnam County Speedway this weekend on Saturday July 10th.

Richard Ferry Takes the win in Dominating Fashion at Hendry County Motorsport Park to Celebrate 4th of July Weekend

Saturday night at Hendry County Motorsports Park  a night of hot rods and fun for the whole family as we set out to celebrate the 4th of July weekend.  The track was hot with Florida Late Models and Sprint Cars, the parking lot was filled with cars and water slides for the kids, and the air was filled by Fireworks.   This was a night in true promoter fashion as Ken Kinney did what he does best and put on a show at the south’s furthest Short track.  The night did not disappoint in anyway and their were lots of fans on site to enjoy the program.

The Florida Late Model Challenge Series made a stop this weekend at Hendry County Motorsports Park, and they did not disappoint.   Series regular and winner of the last few races Nevin Gainey had his challenges but man Richard Ferry put on a hard charge for the lead and once he was out in front, he set sail to victory lane.  The 32 of Robert Vaughan was running well out front and spun in turn three and had to go to the back which left him with a hard battle through a tough field as he tried to work his way to the front.    Florida Young Gun and an asphalt pro truck racer Granger Perra kept digging and came away with an impressive 3rd place finish.

New Smyrna Speedway postpones The Clyde Hart Memorial

Attention Racers and Race Fans: With over 70% chance of rain both Friday and Saturday we have decided to postpone (not cancel) the Clyde Hart Memorial this weekend. With the amount of time and effort that goes into a race weekend like this for all involved, we decided to make the call early to save drivers & fans from traveling for a potential washout. The Clyde Hart Memorial will now be running October 9th in combination with the Hart to Heart Breast Cancer Foundation weekend. That night there will be TWO $5,000 to win races; the Clyde Hart Memorial Super Late Model 50 and the Hart to Heart Pro Late Model 50! This format will add value for both racers and fans alike! The LKQ Super stock 50, Bomber A 40 and Ground Pounders will also run that night as well. Full details will be released in the coming weeks, but we wanted to give everyone plenty of time to plan for the new dates. We were all looking forward to a great night of racing to kick off the 4th of July Weekend and we apologize for any inconvenience. Jesse Dutilly is starting to find his groove as he picks up 3 wins in a row at 4-17 Southern Speedway

Jesse Dutilly is starting t return to his form and dominance in Florida racing after having some struggles early in the year.   Dylan Bigley was able to put a string run in early this season but in the past few races Jesse has taken his place back at the top of the field.  Jesse was followed by Michael Atwell who gave a one two finish for Senneker Performance race cars.    They are all preparing for the Big $20,000 to win Bill Bigley Sr. memorial later in the year, but before that Jesse is pepping for the Clyde Hart Memorial and several races in the blizzard series at Five Flags Speedway.
