Brandon Morris disqualified in the sunoco 100
Race Director Ricky Brooks announces today that Brandon Morris was disqualified in the sunoco 100 may 9th after being involved in an accident, he exited his car before safety officials got to him which is immediate grounds for disqualification, we are trying to be proactive about safety at Auburndale Speedway and keep our staff, fans and drivers as safe as possible . He is also being suspended from the next Sunoco 100 June 27 at Auburndale Speedway, this decision has been made do to a physical altercation he was involved in after exiting the car. “I’m not going to tolerate this kind of conduct at Auburndale Speedway said Brooks because we are turning racing around at Auburndale and car count and fans prove it.” The working relationship between Rex Guy and Ricky Brooks has shocked a lot of people as they continue to put Auburndale Speedway back on the map.
Cooper grabs win over Durden in Limited Late Model Sportsman Feature
Brent Copper grew up at and “cut his teeth” racing at Bronson Speedway some 20+ years ago. His roots at the track go deep, as he relates stories about growing up at the speedway and about his Dad and the contributions Tom Cooper brought to Bronson Speedway, and many racetracks across the state of Florida. Bubba Raceway Park Offers Free Grandstand Admission on May 29th!
May 29th here at Bubba Raceway Park will be Fan Appreciation night with FREE admission to the grandstands. The crowd will be treated to an awesome line-up of racing including UMP Modifieds, Hobby Stocks, V8 Thunderstocks and Gladiators.
If you’re already a fan, make sure to bring out all your friends and neighbors. If this is your 1st time to the track, make arrangements to come out early, get a good seat and enjoy all the festivities. KYLE BRONSON TOP RUNNER IN UDLMS FEATURE AT NORTH FLORIDA SPEEDWAY
Brandon , Florida’s Kyle Bronson #40 led a strong field of some of the best late Model chauffeurs in the southeast as he took top honors in the United Dirt Late Model Series feature event at the North Florida Speedway in Lake City , Florida before a great crowd.
4 heat races were required to qualify the starting positions for the main event and heat 1 was won by Mark Whitener #58 besting Bronson.

Pollen, Jr., Hill, Kay, Jr., Vann and Strickland All Winners At East Bay Raceway Park
GIBSONTON — At East Bay Raceway on Saturday night it was Ed Hill winning the Limited Late Models, Scotty Kay, Jr. winning the Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Street Stocks, David Pollen, Jr. winning the Late Models, Red Vann in the Motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bombers and Hunter Strickland in the Micro Sprints.
In the Limited Late Models 15-lap feature it was Ed Hill picking up his first win of the season with Billy Howard, Jr. and Paul Gibbs rounding out the top three. Roger Crouse and Hill won their heat races early on. (more…)
