GIBSONTON — At East Bay Raceway on Saturday night it was Tim Gay winning the Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Street Stocks, Garrett Stewart in the Gagel’s Open Wheel Modifieds, Kyle Bronson in the Late Models and Jeff Lacey in the Motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bombers

Bradenton’s Dutilly makes it two in a row at the high banks of Desoto Speedway
Turner Tree & Landscaping Super Late Models were the main event of the night at Desoto Speedway, scheduled to run 100 laps. It wasn’t clear early on if Mother Nature was going to dampen the show or not but the clouds rolled out as quickly as they rolled in and it was smooth sailing for the entire night of racing action. All Fans entering the speedway were handed a small American flag to wave during the National Anthem and throughout the night to celebrate the Memorial Day Weekend. Super Late Models saw sixteen cars qualify for the 100 lap feature, with Bradenton’s Jesse Dutilly setting fast time of 14.577, Antony Campi of Sarasota was second with a 14.663. These two drivers had a one, two finish at the last race, April 11th and it appeared Campi had come back with a car and mind set to come out in the first place spot. (more…)
Sprint car points leader Dave Retzlaff brings home the win
With rain all around and bolts of lightning off in the distance, Desoto was able to get the full night of racing action in without a drop of rain. Not sure what Mother Nature had in store for the night, The Sprints cars were the only class to run heats. Shane Butler of Bushnell won the first heat and Sport Allen out of Pinellas Park won the second heat. (more…)
Danny Martin, Jr. Win Eagle Jet Top Gun Sprints Feature At East Bay Raceway Park
GIBSONTON — At East Bay Raceway on Saturday night it was Ed Hill winning the Limited Late Models, Stephen Hohlbaugh in the Foster’s Auto Truck Outlaw Fours, Danny Martin, Jr. in the Eagle Jet Top Gun Sprints, Jeremy Simpson in the V8 Warriors and Dan Darnell in the Florida Old Time Modifieds.
In the Limited Late Models 15-lap feature it was Ed Hill picking up his second feature win in a row over Paul Gibbs and Forrest Gough in the top three. John Bradley and Gibbs won their heats. (more…)
