Orlando FL . 3-11-12 – The ice has melted and the heat is on as the Florida United Promoters Late Model series rolls into Auburndale Speedway this Saturday March 17th for a St. Patrick’s day battle. “We had some of the best asphalt short track drivers in the state at Desoto for the opener, they put on a great show. Now we move to a tighter flat track at Auburndale, I can’t wait to see the action. We were a little disappointed with the car count at race one, but pleasantly surprised with the competitive racing. We will continue to build the series with the support of the racers, the fans, and the tracks” stated series director Rick Williams.
