2-28-12 – The sophomore season of the FUP Late Model series is set to go green this Saturday March 3rd at the Desoto Super Speedway and the expectations and excitement are high !
” We are excited to get the season started, we have been working hard to create better promotion of the series as well as some great racing in 2012. We feel like we have some great drivers and tracks that promote great racing. We are ready to open the season Saturday and we want to invite all the fans to come out and join us for some great racing” stated series director Rick Williams.
The Icebreaker is famous for some great racing over the years and this year will be no exception as top late model pilots Tim Russell (defending series champion), Jake Perkins (2011 Rookie of the Year), Anthony Campi, Jesse Dutilly, Dustin Dunn, Jonthan Guy, Anothy Sergi, David Green, Matt Tiff, Steve Dorer, Scott Heckert, Keith Lilley and more are expected !

9am. – Pit Gate Opens / FUPS Registration Open
10am. – Tech Opens for FUPS
11am. – FUPS Registration Closes
11:00 – 12:30pm. FUPS Tire Selection (In entry fee order, 5 @ a time)
1:00 – 2:00pm. 1st FUPS Practice
2:00 – 2:30pm Support Divison Practice
2:30 – 3:00pm. 2nd FUPS Practice
3:00 – 3:30pm. Support Divison Practice
3:30 – 4:00pm. FUPS Final Practice
4:00 – 5:00pm. Support Divison Practice
4:15pm. Driver/Spotter Meeting for FUPS
4:30pm. FUPS Tire Release (in entry fee order, 10 @ a time)
5:00pm. – FUPS Pre-Qualifying Tech (in entry fee order, 10 @ a time)
6:00pm. – FUPS Qualifying (cars go to impound area after)
6:45pm – 7:00pm. Opening Ceremonies / National Anthem
7:00pm. – Races Start
