After several Rainouts the Eagle Jet Top Gun Sprint Car series finally was blessed with a clear night of racing with no rain in sight at Volusia Speedway Park. When the feature rolled onto the track it was Garrett Green and Johnny Gilberson leading the field to green. Gilbertson would get the early jump into the lead, but it would be short lived as 8th place Danny Martin Jr., would use the high line to track down and pass leader Gilbertson only a few laps into the feature event. Martin would then set sail having almost a straightaway lead over Mark Ruel Jr. before Aileen CollinsLove would spin on the front stretch bringing out the races second caution. When the field bunched back up, Ruel would attempt a slide job on Martin, but it would not work as Martin would go on and win his 7th Eagle Jet Top Gun Series event of 2015. Martin also complete the Jim Barfield Memorial sweep collecting and extra $2,000 on the evening for winning his heat race and the feature in the same night. Ruel Jr. was second, points leader Matt Kurtz was third, Brett O’Donnell fourth and Garrett Green rounded out the top five.
