Pensacola, FL – Friday Night, April 22nd marks a new beginning for the Pro Late Model Division at 5 Flags Speedway. Known for several years as a stepping stone to the Super Late Model Series, the Pro Late Model racing became so popular that many of the top Super Late Model teams have actually added Pro Late Model cars to their stables. The beauty of it all, is that with the current rules package that is in place, even an upstart Pro Late Model team can compete with the veterans. And so, the Allen Turner Series was born for 2011.
Modeled after the ever popular Blizzard Series, the ATS will feature 5, 100 Lap events starting with the Elantra 100 on the April 22. The remaining ATS dates are June 10, July 22, September 9, and the finale will be a very special Saturday Night event on October 8. The top two drivers in the final points standings will be guaranteed starters in the Allen Turner Snowflake 100 on December 3rd.
