Jan 16, 2010 The Sunoco Florida All Stars Tour (FAST) will hold its first 2010 event on Saturday, February 20 at Citrus County Speedway in Inverness, Florida.

The Tour–designed by racers for racers–will consist of 12 events spanning an eight month period, culminating at Auburndale Speedway in October. In addition to Citrus County and Auburndale, the tour will visit Charlotte County Motorsports Park in Punta Gorda, New Smyrna Speedway, Orlando Speedworld, and Columbia Motorsports Park in Lake City. The February 20 kick-off event will be sponsored by RaceCar Engineering.

 Registration forms for participation in the series are now being accepted and can be downloaded from the tour’s website (www.floridaallstarstour.com <http://www.floridaallstarstour.com/>). The website also presents the dates and locations for the twelve events, as well as the official rules and technical specifications for drivers.

Contact information is also provided, along with information on the Tour’s sponsors. Throughout the tour, driver standings, race results, and rookie status information will be rgularly maintained on the site.

The Tour’s Rookie Program is a special facet ot the racing program, and is designed to give additional recognition to newer competitors in late model racing. Sponsored by RaceCar Engineering, the Rookie Program will provide special recognition at each event for the highest-finishing rookie driver, along with year-end awards for the Rookie Championship.
