May 28, 2011 –With threatening weather all around, East Bay officials managed to run all but one feature for a complete program.
As the lightning lit up the night, Jeff Rodgers went wire to wire to pick up his fifth consecutive feature win in the Street Stock racing. Buck Woodhouse gave Rodgers the best challenge, but had to take second. Jarod Gay and John Clark battled to the end with Gay third and Clark fourth. Curtis Book had a steady fifth. Andy Lee and Rodgers got victory lane photos for the heats.
Forrest Gough added his second win of the 2011 season in the Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Limited Late Models. Powers was able to keep the runner-up spot, ahead of Jason Pope, Hurshell Bonner and Daniel Woody. Bonner and Woody were winners of their heat races.

Boyd had his hands full with Johnny Gilbertson in the middle portion of the race and Gilbertson posted third for his second top five. Tim George took fourth while Kerry Gilbert added his first top five of the year. George took the other heat.
The Florida Old Time Modifieds brought 10 cars with Jamie Frankland topping the heat. Andy Kelly took Tommy Zwally’s ride to the win the feature.
Brett Phillips made a last lap pass to claim the rain-soaked Dirt Dauber main.
The motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bombers were unable to run their features due to the rain. Darrell Taylor, Patrick Fiore and Red Vann won heats.
