Mooresville, NC 11/28/12– Plans for the 2013 Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series are beginning to take shape as officials are proud to announce that the Dillon (SC) Motor Speedway will host the 2013 season opening race on Saturday April 6th. The 2013 season will mark the second year of competition under the ownership of series president Jack McNelly as well as series title sponsor Revolution Oil.

In addition to announcing the season opening event at Dillon the series will host a fourteen race schedule in 2013 paying $10,000 to win each and every event. The first ten points races will once again set the stage for the annual four race championship series to crown the 2013 champion. The complete series schedule will be announced on Friday December 14th as the series will host an open house discussing 2013 subject matter at the Charles Mack Citizen Center in Mooresville, North Carolina from 6-9pm. Drivers and teams considering competing in the 2013 Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series season are strongly encouraged to attend this event.

“We are excited about next season and kicking things off at the Dillon Motor Speedway. Track owner Ron Barfield and his group there are great to work with, and the racing at Dillon’s egg shaped facility should make for an exciting start to the new year,” stated series president Jack McNally. “We’ve increased our purse to $10,000 to win at every race next year, and with last season having had seven different winners throughout the year we expect the competition to increase across the board in 2013 for both old and new teams alike to take home a healthy amount of prize money.”

The series will continue their aggressive offseason promotion campaign as they head to Orlando, Florida for the annual Performance Racing Industry (PRI) trade show beginning this Thursday November 29th through Saturday December 1st. Series officials will be on hand throughout the show in booth #4552 talking with follow industry leaders and answering questions in regards to the 2013 season.
