CARTERSVILLE, GA – Noah Daspit of Kiln, MS has clinched the 2013 NeSmith Chevrolet Old Man’s Garage Weekly Racing Series Championship after driving the Billy Riels Racing GRT to his 14th win of the season on Saturday night at St. Tammany Raceway in Lacombe, LA. Daspit had did have to overcome some adversity, to seal the deal for the $10,000 title.
Daspit had some problems with his primary car, the Billy Riels Racing Trak-Star in the pre-race warm-up laps, so he climbed into the car of his teammate, Shannon Lee of Lumberton, MS, set fast time, and won the race.
