Salem, IN (December 17, 2012) – Champion Racing Association officials are pleased to announce that Luke Yoder Construction, Hamner Racing Engines and RaceCar Engineering will be sponsoring special awards for the upcoming SpeedFest 2013 at Watermelon Capital Speedway on January 26th and 27th. The event will consist of a 200 lap ARCA/CRA Super Series event and a 100 lap JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance special event. Both events will only count green flag laps, a change from previous seasons. There will be a halfway break at lap 100 for the 200 lap ARCA/CRA Super Series event.
Luke Yoder Construction of Perry, Georgia has stepped up to sponsor the Luke Yoder Construction Halfway Leader award for the 200 lap ARCA/CRA Super Series event with SpeedFest 2013. Hamner Racing Engines, one of the top racing engine manufacturers in the country located in Harpersville, Alabama, will sponsor the Fast Qualifier Awards at SpeedFest 2013. The Hamner Racing Engines Fast Qualifier with the 200 lap ARCA/CRA Super Series event will receive a $200 cash bonus from Hamner Racing Engines. The Hamner Racing Engines Fast Qualifier with the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour 100 lap event will receive a $100 cash bonus from Hamner Racing Engines. RaceCar Engineering of Lakeland, Florida, who is dedicated to pleasing their customers and providing them with excellent service, price and selection for their racing needs with a huge inventory of racing parts, will sponsor the RaceCar Engineering Performance Awards. Racecar Engineering will award the winner of both SpeedFest 2013 events with $100 Product Certificates. Racecar Engineering will also award the third, fifth, seventh, ninth, eleventh, and thirteenth place finishers in each event with $50 Product Certificates.
