Salem, IN (August 13, 2012) – The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance will make its first ever visit to Auto City Speedway located in Clio, Michigan this Thursday, August 16th for a special event that will include NASCAR Star Brad Kesolowski. The distinctive 4/10’s mile oval is located five miles North of Flint, Michigan. The event will feature the best of the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour against the best of the Auto City Speedway ACSS Pro Late Models. Kesolowski is currently fifth in NASCAR Sprint Cup points and is tied with Jimmy Johnson for most wins with three to date. Kesolowski finished second to Marcus Ambrose in this past Sunday’s exciting finish at Watkins Glen.

All the top JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour drivers will be there on Thursday including current series point’s leader Daniel Hemric who has won six series features and has finished second in two others in the 10 series events contested to date for the Scott Neal Racing Team. Hemric comes into Thursday’s event with an 85 point lead over second place Brent Downey. 14 year old Anderson Bowen, the leader in the series Howie Lettow Rookie of the Year points presented by Howe Racing, is third in points, he is only eight points behind Downey. Josh Nelms is now in fourth place in series points, he is 62 points behind Bowen. Chad Finley, who has one series win in 2012, is in fifth place, he is 12 points behind Nelms. Other top series drivers who are entered include Jerrod Foley, Tom Woodin, Wes Griffith Jr., Brandon Hermiller Ali Kern, 2011 Howie Lettow Rookie of the Year Cody Coughlin, Tommy Cook, Jay Sommers, Mike Staszak, Tyler Strickland and ARCA/CRA Super Series competitor Jason Dietsch.

The Auto City Speedway ACSS Pro Late Models contingent who are entered for Thursdays event are led by current point’s leader Kyle Hayden, the Clio native currently has a 17 point lead over second place Dan Leeck who is also entered. Other ACSS Pro Late Models drivers who are entered include Robbie Johnson, Joe Johnson, Kyle Crump, Pat Zorn, Curt Genow and Andrew Wyatt’s number 64 car that will be driven Thursday by Claude Plante Jr., who competed with the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour last season. Everyone but Hayden has competed in at least one CRA event during the 2012 season.

There is an open practice on Wednesday at Auto City Speedway from 4:30 until dusk. Pit gates will open on Thursday at 12:30pm. Practice will begin for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour at 3pm with qualifying for the series starting at 5pm. Spectator gates open at 4:30pm. There will be a photo shoot for fans with Brad Kesolowski on the track beginning at 6:15pm. There will be a meet and great autograph session with Kesolowski beginning at 6:35pm in the Auto City Bar in the Lounge area. At 7:15pm there will be Pace Car rides on the track with Kesolowski.

The race program will begin at 7:30pm and will include a possible 15 lap Last Chance race and the Brad 100 Presented by JEGS.com for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance. The Auto City Street Stocks will also be in action in the Miller Lite 50 along with some exhibition hot laps from the Must See Racing Super Modifieds and the IOFS Outlaw Figure 8’s.
