This week is Night Of A Thousands and the Twisted Tea Top Gun Sprint Cars, Scorpion Racing Products Modifieds, Hobby Stocks, 1-800-ASK GARY Thunder Stocks, and Rent-N-Roll Gladiators will all race for that big prize.

In a season of change for the Twisted Tea Top Gun Sprint Cars we see that Matt Kurtz has been the dominant driver of 2012 while Ryan Partin has used conistency to stick within 32 points of the youngster. AJ Maddox took a big win earlier in 2012 and sits 3rd in the standings but he’s 42 behind Partin! Mark Ruel, Jr. and Danny Martin, Jr. have also broken into Coors Light Winner’s Circle and there are plenty of other drivers who could do the same. Watch as Partin, the 2010 champion, chases down young Kurtz and see if driver #92 can hold on!

So, with 10 feature wins, 2 runner-up finishes, and 3 DNFs (2 while leading) in just 15 events it’s pretty safe to say Kyle Bronson can wheel a Scorpion Racing Products Modifieds machine. As he chases down the title in the Hammond Motorsports #40B you have the 4-time defending champion, Jeff Mathews, scrambling as he, without a drastic change, has lost his reign at Bubba Raceway Park. Mathews can count 2012 a success, however, as he has won a feature in both his Modified and Late Model- 1 of only 2 drivers to do so this year. Dalton Lanich used the family equipment early but was picked up by the Chris Williams team and they have rocketed to the front as they’ve won together- the win at Bubba Raceway Park, however,Y is still coming after a patch of rough luck. His team-mate, Garret Stewart, can tell him all about bad luck as Stewart still seeks his first win on the 1/3 mile as well. Buzzie Reutimann, Rich Pratt, and Ivedent Lloyd, Jr. will throw themselves into the battle and take the fight to “The Killer” up front.

You wanted a heavyweight bout and you have it- call it a tie, basically, between Trevor Gamble of Friend’s Racing and Rodney Wright of Sheffield Motorsports in the Hobby Stock race. Wright has the feature wins and the guts; Gamble has the heat wins and has been very fast all season. As those 2 steal the spotlight Mike Stalnaker runs in a quiet 3rd. Stalnaker has not gone winless at Bubba Raceway Park in a long time but the streak may end as he is still underpowered and underfunded. Stalnaker can, and will, make the most of any door that is opened and a trip to Coors Light Winner’s Circle wouldn’t be surprising. The very young Hunter Gustafson has shown muscle in 2012 as has Mark Maresca and they are towards the top of the standings as a result. Tim Powers has been stealing the headlines lately but Gamble and Wright need points- how bad do they need them is the question.

Jonathan Appleby and Brian Mullins are both in their first ever true championship fights in the 1-800-ASK GARY Thunder Stocks. Appleby, driving for himself and good friend Don Winne, has taken 6 feature wins in 2012 but has failed to qualify for a few features this season. Brian Mullins and the Cheater Racing group, however, have just 1 win but have qualified for all 28 features- in fact, he hasn’t finished worse than 16th all season! As those 2 chase the title, 2010 champion Jason Gamble watches as his season continues to go up in smoke. Literally. The T&T Automotive team has had so much bad luck it shouldn’t be possible. The cars are fast, the drivers are strong, the engines are not but when they fix them, look out. John Thorpe, James Sullivan, III and Brandon Elwood have been towards the top of the standings all season and hope to stay there but Chad Scranton and Shane Nichols can eat points up quickly. Watch out because any one can win and there is a championship fight going on!

You want a real battle, though, look at this one- Tony LaPorta, Steve Johnson, Brandon Haseleu, and Jordan McMillon. McMillon, a rookie, who towers above them all, Haseleu who can’t legally drive by himself yet, Johnson who is old enough to be their father, and LaPorta who could be their grandpa! A diverse group of drivers it is in the Rent-N-Roll Gladiators! LaPorta has been dominant in 2012 while Johnson wins a couple of races a season. Haseleu took big #1, then #2, and then #3 within the past 6 weeks and has been trying his hardest to win this title while McMillon continues to improve as a driver and will attack at the precise moment. Anything could happen and you won’t want to miss it!

Bubba will open the Pit Stop at 1, pits at 4, and grandstands at 5. Racing is scheduled for 7. Don’t miss Night Of A Thousands!!! For more info contact us at www.bubbaracewaypark.com or call us at 352-622-9400!
