The final race of the GA for Fair Tax / David Ragan Ford Outlaw Latemodel Series was a great one! Mathew Wragg set on the pole with David Hodges outside. On the drop of the green Wragg jumped to an early lead. Second through 5th were tight with Hodges, Jason Bates, Steve Renner, and Steve Barker swapping position ever lap. There were a few cautions throughout the race with Jason Bates slipping off the top and Kyle MaCallam spinning. The final caution came when Wragg and Stewart Smith came together in turns 3 and 4 while Wragg was lapping Smith. On the restart Steve Renner came on strong passing Hodges for second and making a run for the lead. Renner got up to the door of Wragg a few times but could not make the pass. Wragg went on to be our 4th winner of the seven race series. Champions were crowned on this night with Hodges being the series champion, Steve Barker runner up, and Stuart Dutton third.
