Hicks took over the FASTRAK SE point lead after his second win of the season on June 3 at Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, VA as a part of the 41st Annual USA 100. Hicks will be returning to the site of his first win of the season, Toccoa Raceway, where he won the season opener on April 1.

The battle for the 2017 FASTRAK SE Championship after the first four races of the season has Hicks leading with 122 points and a slim two point advantage over Jensen Ford of Piney Flats, TN, who is second with 120 points. Two former FASTRAK Champions are tied for third spot, as the defending champion Cla Knight of North Augusta, SC and Ron Parker of Belwood, NC have 110 points apiece.

Matthew Nance of Ronda, NC is well in the hunt for the FASTRAK SE title in the fifth spot with 108 points, and Tyler Bare of Rockridge Baths, VA is sixth with 98 points. Phillip Thompson of Knoxville, TN is seventh in the FASTRAK SE standings with 90 points, and he also leads the Rookie of the Year point standings.

Dylan Lewis of Oakland, MD is eighth in the FASTRAK SE standings with 83 points and is second in the Rookie of the Year point standings. Corey Almond of Appomattox, VA is ninth in the standings with 66 points, and he also leads the FASTRAK SE Futures Cup point standings for drivers under the age of 20. Justin Williams of Concord, VA rounds out the top ten with 59 points.

Almond and Williams are not FASTRAK Touring members, which would technically move Teddy Tate, who is third in the Rookie of the Year points, into ninth with 56 points, and Frankie Beard of Hartwell, GA into tenth with 50 points.

The FASTRAK SE Touring regulars will have some tough competition from the local Toccoa Raceway drivers that also compete in Division 1 of the FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series. Adam Smith is the Division 1 point leader, and Beard is second. David McCoy of Franklin, NC is the defending FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series National Champion.

McCoy, who picked up a $10,000 check for his FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series National Championship, tuned up for this Saturday night’s race with a win in the Toccoa Raceway weekly race last Saturday night. Also expected to try and keep the big money close to home are Drew Benfield, Parker Herring, Derek Harvey, Colby Cannon, Andrew Cole, Larry Waters, Ricky Smith, and Cody Prichett.

On Saturday, the pit gate opens at 3:30 p.m. with FASTRAK Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Drivers Meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. with Hot Laps scheduled for 7 p.m.
