Series regular Jesse Dutilly finally had the complete race Saturday night and captured his first win of 2012 at Auburndale taking the Regal KIA Chevy 100. Starting outside the front row after the draw for the top eight quailifiers, Dutilly got the jump on pole setter Jake Perkins at the start, the two battled with young Perkins putting on the pressure in the early stages. As Dutilly kept all challenges from series point leader Steve Dorer after Perkins faded back.
Dutilly was followed by Dorer, Jonathan Guy, Eddie King with a steady run to take fourth and Joe Winchell rounding out the top five. Dorer set fast time with just a tick quicker than Kevin Macy, Winchell was 3rd quickest. The series moves to Citrus Co.
