Orlando FL – 10-20-2010 – With the Charity Truckers 200 just over 7 weeks away things kick into high gear. Rick Bristol begins a big push to finish sponsorship needs, fill final awards and sell the laps to make this years event successful, but he needs you help. ” I simply want to ask the folks who maybe have never given to the event to get involved a little this year, buy a lap, sponsor and award for $100 or more if they can. We need you help. With the economy still a major issue to many, if everyone pitched in a little we can still effect the lives of the kids and families acing these terminal illnesses and all that goes with the fight. Please consider what you can do to help, every dollar helps” stated Bristol.
Fountain Motorsports Driver Development, MJS Concrete and Biscayne Roofing have stepped up again as major sponsors of the event. Coulter Motorsports, Brun’s Inc. General Contractors, Florida Lift Systems Inc. and Webb’s Commercial Services again return as sponsors in different areas of the event. Coming on board this year in a real nice deal is SUBWAY- Dipasqua Enterprises, they will furnish 400 people Friday night in the pits with a 6″ sub, chips and cookie after the event. This is Rick Bristol’s way to thank those that come and compete that night, he normally cooks but this will be a blessing and allow him to mingle and thank folks for being there.
Professional Motorsports Solutions – Brad Hockaday will once again furnish raceiver communication and transponder scoring for the weekend at a very generous price to the event and the drivers. Many volunteer officials will donate their time and talents to run off the event to help these families in need. We hope to announce some additional sponsorships over the coming weeks, but there are some needs to be filled and we listed them below. If you can help in these areas please call Rick Bristol as soon as possible at 407-497-0448 or e-mail him at rbmini68@aol.com.
You can go to www.carsevents.com for all the info on this years event, flyers and driver info packets are in pdf. form to print and download. Pro-truck drivers are reminded that the $150 per-entry fee is good until December 1st, after that it is $200. Also remember order of entries received is order to park for pit selection and determines duplicate numbers. Also any driver that raises individually (not counting sponsorships etc.) $500 in donations he will pay no entry fee or pit passes for either day. That is a savings to the driver of nearly $200.
Pro-truck, Super-stock, Strictly-stock, Legends, DAARA Antique, Mini-cup, Bandolero and Champ Kart drivers will all be competing and need to please get an entry form in by November 15th to be in the program for the event.
We also have ads available in the program starting at just $30 for business card size up to full pages $125 in black & white. If you would like an ad it needs to be in and paid for by November 10th. Contact Rick Bristol.
