Race Report: Tony Modica
Wingless Sprints
Eighteen wingless sprints were in the field for the twenty five lap feature. After several attempts to get started ,the field had to survive a few quick yellows,their were a total of six cautions in the race,including contact between father and son drivers Jimmy Alvis Sr.and Jimmy Alvis Jr bring out one of those yellows.By the third complete restart the drivers came to the line three wide with Tampa driver Joey Aguilar flying into turn one and would grab the lead coming from inside of row two,Aguilar looked the car to beat as he lead the first ten laps,when yet another yellow would come out in lap ten,at that time Aguilar would be notified that was being penalized three positions for jumping the start,that would turn the lead over to Tampa driver Collin Cabre who would go on and prove he was just to strong for the field,Cabre would go on to lead the remaining fifthteen laps.Second went to Bushnell driver Shane Butler who made the pass around Alvis in lap twenty for that spot and third it was Lutz driver Tony Carreno.
Heat winners Jimmy Alvis Sr. and Mickey Kempgens.
Taylor Made Homes Pure Stock 50 Lap
Twenty six Pure Stocks were signed for the fifty lap feature event.
In qualifying Inverness Fl driver Levi Roberts set fast time ,with a 16.805,the only driver in the sixteen second bracket.
After the two row inversion ,that put Michael Martin on the pole,and points leader David Walls starting outside row one.Walls wasted no time jumping out to the lead in lap one,on the move was Roberts getting second place away from Martin in lap seven and was on the move,yellow came out in lap eight,and that tighten up the field,by lap eleven it was door to door ,down the front stretch for the lead,that door to door battle went on for two laps with Roberts getting the lead in lap twelve,Roberts,then would continue on to pick up his second points win of the season.Second it was James Peters and third went to Michael Martin.
Mini Cup
Ten Mini Cup drivers took the green flag for their twenty lap feature,with Carlos Gonzales on the pole,by lap two it was a new leader in the name of GA driver, Brandon Beach one of three drivers from the Beach family in the field.
By the halfway point ,leader Beach was recording lap times in the mid sixteen second bracket,and Brandon would goon and pick up the win. Second went to Carlos Gonzales and third it was ten year old Cole Partelo.

Street Stock
The sixteen car field quickly saw two cautions trying to get started,on the pole it was Mark Fallows.
Fallows would lead for the first lap and a half as Jeff Stalnaker would get around him as the new leader,Stalnaker then would run very steady working through traffic and would go on to pick up his first win of the season.Coming in second was points leader Curtis Flanagan coming from outside row ten,Curtis gave it all he had putting on a late charge in the closing laps and third it was Kenny May.

Mod Mini Stock
After a two row inversion,the field was set with the 2010 champion Clint Foley on the pole.
When the green flag dropped, Foley would take he field into turn one as the leader,and started to bust away.
Behind your leader their was some good racing between,Michael Lawhorn and James Ellis fighting for second,by lap eleven Foley would have 5.62 second lead over the field and contiue to lead the remaining laps for his first win of the season.
Second went to Michael Lawhorn who had good race with third place finisher James Ellis.
Heat winners Donald Faunce and James Ellis.
Daytona Antique Auto Racing Assc.
A very strong turn out from DAARA bringing a total of twenty nine cars with four separate classes,Midgets/Speedsters,Uncaged /Caged Sprints,6 cyl,/ Small V-8 and Stock Cars /Modifieds.
Drivers treated the crowd to great look back in time with cars from back as far as the 1930,s .
Top three finishers were interviewed at the end of their races and talked about the history of their carsand racing careers.Miami driver David Johnson would win the Midgets/Speedsters.
Six Cyl / Small V-8 would go to Steve Parrish from Okeechobee,Uncaged /Caged Sprints Dave Cash coming in from Palm Coast andin the V-8 Stocks / Modifieds Ft Myers driver Pat McNear would score the win.
Pure Stock / Street Stock Figure Eight
Fifthteen figure eight cars would take the green flag for the twenty lap feature, with Neil Herne starting on the pole,things did’nt start out to well for the field as caution would drop in lap one,for a two car wreck,the field would continue to have troublewith a total of five yellows and a red flag in lap five after a hard wreck in the intersection,with both drivers walking away. Officials then called it a complete race. Top three were Eric Sharrone,second Ronnie Schrefiels and thrid went to Neil Herne
