The Florida United Promoters Series Super Late Models returns to the “Friendliest Track in The South” Citrus County Speedway for The Hoosier 100 this Saturday. After a month long layoff the Supers will be back in action. Expecting to challenge points leader Wayne Anderson of Wildwood with six wins will be Brooksville’s Daniel Webster with two wins of his own. Naples competitors Billy Bigley Jr. and his son Dylan Bigley will make the long haul to seek their first win of the season. Jesse Dutilly out of Sarasota will challenge, also schedule to join are Jeff Scofield, Daryl Shelnut, Anthony Sergi, Daniel Keene. Citrus regulars Todd Brown, Herb Neumann Jr. & Scott Grossenbacher will also join in the hunt for that first FUPS win. “Young Guns”, Anthony Cataldi, Randy Anderson, Brooke Store, David Green are expected as well.
On the evenings card along with the FUPS SLM are the FUP Legends and Bandolero’s, Mod Mini’s, Street Stock, Pure Stocks, DWARF’s and Figure 8’s. Pit gates open at 12pm., Grandstands at 4:00pm., Racing at 5:30pm.. There will be open practice on Fridaynight Sept. 13th from 5-9:00pm.
