Its hard to believe that it has been 10 years since our way of life as Americans was turned upside down in one of the darkest days in our history, September 11,2001. It was any day like any other day. Normal folks just like you and your Neighbors going to work ,taking the kids to school, firemen, police, EMS, just normal everyday folks. In one split second every person in our nation became one. As we stopped and watched or listened to the events of that September morning unfold, we saw these every day people, the firemen, police, and EMS personal go into the buildings and never come out. Why? They knew the danger. Why did they go in. Because that’s what they do, and they do it selflessly. They never thought twice. They knew that their friends, neighbors, and complete strangers needed them and they were there for them. As the days have now turned into years we will never forget.
Join us Saturday night September 10th at The Hendry County Motorsports park as we pay Tribute to those who gave there lives selflessly on 9/11/2001. All, fire dept, sheriff, police, military, state troopers, FWC, any Emergency Service Personal will get in absolutely Free. There will be special performance from American Rescue Party 343 Inc. and a special 30 lap Street Stock 9/11 Tribute Race. Also racing will be Open Wheel Modifieds, Mod Minis, Pure Stocks, Sportsman, Limited Lates, Mini Stocks, V-8 Bombers, Kids bike races, and The Ladies Powder Puffs. Front gate admission is only $5.00, kids 12 and under are Free and all Emergency Services Personal are Free. Gates open at 4 racing starts at 7.
