Old Town, FL (August 2, 2010)  Team Car Warz has headed north for the month of August and their first stop is the famous Lake Erie Speedway in North East, PA.  Lake Erie Speedway is a 3/8th mile asphalt oval and 2010 marks it’s ninth season of running.
Team Car Warz is ready for Saturday with plenty of craziness for everyone.  On the program will be School Bus Figure 8 – heats & feature, Front wheel drive $5000.00 to win enduro (4 Cylinder and V-6 Cars,  Skid Car Race, Flagpole Race, Open Roller Derby, Boat & Camper Trailer Race, Front Wheel Drive Demo Derby (4cyl & V-6 cars),and a Fan Burnout Contest.
For out-of-town fans, here are directions to Lake Erie Speedway:
From the West:
Take Interstate 90 east to Interstate 86 (formerly Rte. 17, the Southern Tier Expressway). Once on I-86 get off of the first exit (North East/Wattsburg Rte. 89). Turn left off of the exit and go approximately ½ mile. The Speedway is on your left.
 
From the East:
From Ripley, NY area, take Interstate 90 West to Exit 41 (North East Rte. 89). Turn left on Rte. 89 (South), and go approximately 2.5 miles. The Speedway is on your right just before you get to Interstate 86.
 
From Jamestown area, take Interstate 86 West to North East/Wattsburg exit (Rte. 89), take a right off of the exit and go about ½ mile. The Speedway is on your left.
 
From the South:
Take Rte. 89 North towards North East. Cross under I-86 and go about ½ mile. The Speedway is on your left.
Holiday Inn Express located at 3025 Rte. 426 in Findley Lake, New York 13736 is the official hotel for the speedway.  Fans can call 1-716-769-7900 for reservations.
Lake Erie Speedway is proud to be part of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series and hosts not only NASCAR events but also INEX events.  Lake Erie is proud to be called “one of the best modern era short tracks in the nation”.   Only 53 out of the 1,100 short tracks in the United States are part of the NASCAR family and Lake Erie Speedway is proud to be one.
Grandstands will open at 5 pm on Saturday, August 7th, with racing action at 7:00 pm.  General admission is $20.00 adults, children 6 to 12 $5.00, under 6 free.  Plus, as they do every race night, fireworks will be added at the end of the show courtesy of Homestead Oak, Inc.
