Wayne Anderson made in 4 in a row on Saturday night as he captured the 6th Annual Billie Harvey Memorial at Auburndale Speedway. Fighting off challenges by Billy Bigley Jr., Jesse Dutilly and his own son Randy Anderson, the elder Anderson rolled to victory after starting on the pole by inversion after qualifying 7th.
Jonathan Guy set fast time for the night with Dutilly and David Green rounding out the top three. At the draw Guy drew the lucky or unlucky depending on who you ask #7. The draw put both Anderson’s on the front row with Joe Boyd and Bigley in tow.The first 29 laps went green with som good side by side racing going on through the field. Anderson and Bigely fought hard side by side for 7 laps before Bigley got by. His lead was short as Anderson got back in front and set sail to the finish. Dutilly was closing in on the rear bumper of the black & orange #84 at the end but had to settle for 2nd, Daniel Webster came for his 12th starting position to finish 3rd, Steve Dorer was 4th and Bigley rounded out the top five.
The companion FUPS Legends Feature saw Cory Abbott pick up win #3 for the season as he streched his points lead. Becca Monopoli, Danielle Stratton, Noah Corman and Kyle Capabianco.
