HUNTSVILLE, AL-The Southern Superstars Short Track Series has rescheduled the 24th Annual World Classic at Huntsville Speedway.  The race was supposed to take place on September 2nd, but now has been rescheduled for Sunday night September 30th.

The Southern Superstars Super Late Models will compete in a 150 lap event along with racing in the other Huntsville Speedway divisions; including Outlaw Late Models as that division will l race that night topless, along with Supertrucks, Sportsman, Super Stock, Mini Stock, Hot Shot/Buzz and Mod Lites.

Also it will be the final point’s race of the 2012 Southern Superstars Short Track Series season as the top five drivers in the series standings all have a chance to capture the 2012 championship as there are only 42 points separating the top five drivers.  Defending series champion Mark Day of Clarksville, TN., can he make it three in a row or will Chase Oliver of Crossville, AL., Lee Hansard of Tyrone, GA., Hunter Robbins of Decatur, AL., or Davey Coble of Madison, TN., all have shot at the series title.  The battle for the ARP Rookie of the Year tile will also come down to the last event as Coble and Lexington, KY., driver Jerad Smith battle it out for that honor.
