Michael Page Wins Second Career Dixie Shootout

WOODSTOCK, GA (October 12, 2019) – Georgia’s Michael Page defended his home turf for the second time in the last three years as he won the Lucas Oil Dixie Shootout, on Saturday Night at the Dixie Speedway. With the victory in one of the Southeast’s most prestigious dirt late model events, Page became the 19^th different winner this season on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series tour. Page, driving the only Stinger Race Car in the field, took the lead at the start of the 50-lap race and lead every lap in the caution-free event. Jimmy Owens, who started from the pole alongside Page, finished in second followed by seventh-place starter Brandon Overton. Chris Madden and current Series Championship Point leader Jonathan Davenport rounded out the top 5. Page took the lead from Owens coming off turn number two on the first lap and never relinquished the top spot. Owens tried to stay with Page in heavy traffic, but the 36-year-old had little, to no problems in traffic as he scored the popular win at one of his home tracks. In Lucas Oil Victory Lane, a multitude of well-wishers joined Page just as they did two years ago after winning his first Dixie Shootout. He was emotional as he talked to the huge crowd of spectators on hand to witness the home state driver’s win. “I knew I had to get Jimmy there at the start. I hadn’t been up top all night, but I just went for it. The car was good from the start. This Stinger Race Car from Chase King and his dad was perfect all night long. Last week we couldn’t even line-up, but this is racing and you have to keep your head up and keep on getting with it.” “I would rather be lucky than good any day to beat these guys tonight. Look at all of their accomplishments this year, it says a lot about our team and what we are capable of doing. The lapped cars gave us plenty of room. Most of the time you don’t get that respect when you are lapping someone.” Owens, who won the Dixie Shootout in 2012, ran second the entire distance and was able to hold off Overton at the end. “Congrats to Page and all of those guys on the win, they are really tough here. We had a good car and won the first heat. It was a drag-race to turn one in the feature. I beat him (Page) into turn one, but he got the lead on the high side and he did what he needed to do. I am looking forward to finishing the year off with a bang. Thanks to Leon Ramirez and all of my crew. We’ll head to Rome tomorrow night and try to get a win.” Overton entered the race with three consecutive feature wins. He ended the night with his best series finish since his second place run in the COMP Cams Topless 100 in August. “We had a really good car tonight. Mustang Sampling Says Thank You to the Fans

Braselton, Ga. (12 October 2019) Saturday’s Motul Petit Le Mans brings to a close Mustang Sampling’s fifth year as primary sponsor of Action Express Racing’s No. 5 car.

As the company looks ahead to the future, Mustang Sampling founders Ken and Brenda Thompson wanted to take a look back at the incredible success that the brand has enjoyed both off and on the track through its partnership with Action Express Racing.

It’s been a record-breaking run, winning IMSA driver and team titles; three consecutive Endurance Cups, with victories in all four endurance classics; piloted by a hall of fame roster of drivers.

Mustang Sampling’s involvement as primary sponsor of the No. 5 Corvette DP was announced on the eve of the 2015 Rolex 24 At Daytona. The new sponsor faced the challenge of joining the team that used a Rolex 24 triumph as a springboard to sweeping the inaugural IMSA Prototype, Team and Endurance Cup titles the previous season.

The new black, white and gold Corvette DP quickly came up to speed. Regular drivers Joao Barbosa and Christian Fittipaldi – joined by four-time Champ Car titlist Sebastien Bourdais – barely missed winning the Rolex 24, finishing a mere 1.333 seconds behind the Ganassi entry.

Fittipaldi, Barbosa and Bourdais won their next time out, though, taming the grueling 12 Hours of Sebring, leading 248 of the 340 circuits. The team went on to score six podiums in 10 races, winning the season-ending Petit Le Mans to repeat as 2015 IMSA Prototype, Team and Endurance Cup champions.

Mustang Sampling made it three straight Endurance Cups for Action Express in 2016, winning the Sahlen’s Six Hours of Watkins Glen in a season that saw them take podiums in seven of the 10 races. The season opened with a fourth-place finish at the Rolex 24, with IMSA’s all-time leading winner Scott Pruett making his final Prototype start in the Daytona classic he had won five times.

Action Express rolled out the new Cadillac DPi-V.R in 2017. Barbosa and Fittipaldi, joined by endurance specialist Filipe Albuquerque, repeated at Watkins Glen in addition to taking seconds at Daytona and Sebring. The No. 5 Mustang Sampling Racing entry took its fourth consecutive Endurance Cup, the third under the Mustang Sampling banner.

Albuquerque joined Barbosa as primary drivers of the No. 5 Cadillac in 2018, with Fittipaldi promoted to the team’s Sporting Director in addition to driving in the endurance classics. The year opened with a victory in the Rolex 24, a dominant performance with Barbosa, Albuquerque and Fittipaldi leading 579 of the 808 laps. That was followed shortly by a triumph on the streets of Long Beach, California.

Fittipaldi drove his final race at the 2019 Rolex 24, joining Albuquerque and Barbosa in a seventh-place finish. Formula One veteran Brendon Hartley joined the team at Sebring, coming home with a third-place finish and setting the stage for a victory by Barbosa and Albuquerque at Long Beach. Mike Conway joined the No. 5 Cadillac for a sixth-place finish at Watkins Glen, and returns to the team this weekend to join Barbosa and Albuquerque at the Motul Petit Le Mans.

B J Parker Memorial to End Southern All Star Season At Talladega Short Track October 12th $4,200 To Win

FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by MaxFab will end the 2019 campaign this Saturday night October 12th at the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL., during the annual NASCAR visit to the area with the B J Parker Memorial paying tribute to the founder of the Southern All Stars with a 42 lap $4,200 to win event.

This race is in honor to the man that started the Southern All Star Racing Series back in 1983 with a vision of giving the working man and area racers an opportunity to make a little more money running some bigger regional events as well as giving race tracks that can’t hold a national event a chance to hold a regional event and make a little money in doing so.

That is basically the same philosophy that is still with the series today as it completes its 36th year of racing and will be crowning a new series champion Saturday night at Talladega Short Track.

David Breazeale of Four Corners, MS., has all but locked up the series title and will be in action as well as Zach Leonhardi of Cartersville, GA., who has won the Cruise with the Champions/Dirtondirt.com rookie of the year, Billy Franklin of Alabaster, Al., Riley Hickman of Ooltewah, TN., Mark Dodson of Caledonia, MS., these drivers plus many more regional super drivers are expected to be in action.

Local Talladega drivers are always tough to beat as Dallas Cooper heads that list along with Tim Roszell, Terry Smith, Dillon Tidmore, and many more.

Don O’Neal Wins Second Career Pittsburgher

IMPERIAL, PA (October 5, 2019) – Don O’Neal won his second Pittsburgher 100 in the last three years on Saturday Night at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. In taking home the $20,000 first place prize, he also earns his first Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series victory of 2019 and became the 18th different Series winner this season. Davenport led from the start of the race and appeared to be on the way to his first Pittsburgher 100 victory. Throughout the latter half of the event, he fought off O’Neal’s constant challenges, but was pulling away when a caution came out for a stalled car in turn four. Under the lap 93 caution, Davenport slowed to a stop in the middle of the backstretch, and was pushed back to the hot pit area to add fuel to his Longhorn Chassis. Earl Pearson Jr. charged from the 23rd stating spot to finish second behind O’Neal. Tim McCreadie rallied from two pitstops to finish in third. Jimmy Owens fought his way back to finish fourth after tangling with another car just shy of half way and having to restart at the tail, and 2-time Pittsburgher 100 winner, Gregg Satterlee, rounded out the top five. Davenport sprinted to the lead at the start of the race with Hudson O’Neal and Shanon Buckingham following in second and third. That trio held the top-three positions for the first ten laps of the race. Don O’Neal then began to challenge his 19-year-old son in a battle for second. The two O’Neal’s ran side-by-side for several circuits in the race for second behind Davenport who was building a commanding lead over the field. After clearing his son, Don O’Neal began to track down Davenport. By lap 70 he had pulled his car alongside of Davenport’s in the battle for the top spot. Don O’Neal used the late-race restart to pull away from a hard-charging Pearson to pick up the 46th Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series win of his career. “Man, I needed this win bad. We have a had a good car over the last month. I am pumped! Our car was better on the long green flag runs. I thought I could get by Jonathan a couple times late in the race. I tried to make him [Davenport] run a little bit harder than he wanted to and I wanted him to know I was there. My car kept wanting to die on the last caution, so I am glad the race ended when it did.” Pearson was pleased with his well-earned finish. “We had a pretty good run tonight. We struggled all night before the feature and changed a lot on the car after the B-Main. We are definitely proud that all of our hard work paid off. The track was racy, and you could move all around it. Congratulations to Don on the win. It’s pretty crazy how these 100 lap races turn out sometimes with the veteran guys running up front.” McCreadie charged back late in the race to join O’Neal and Pearson on the Lucas Oil podium. “I don’t know what cut the tire down earlier in the race. My car was really crooked for the early part of the race and that was making it hard on the left rear. MONOPOLI TAKES 2019 PRO TRUCK TITLE

Auburndale Speedway returned to action Saturday night with great early fall weather and a nice crowd of fans who were ready for a pair of 50-lap contests for the Pro Trucks and the Sportsman cars. The Pro Truck event would be the season finale for the class.

Time trials for the Pro Trucks saw young Carter “Mac n’ Cheese” Brown pull off a big surprise by setting fast time for the first time in his career. His lap of 14.597 seconds topped the laps of Cody McDuffie, Brey Holmes, Becca Monopoli and Danny Anderson.

The top four qualifiers were inverted for the start placing Monopoli on the pole flanked by Holmes. Monopoli jumped out to a quick lead with McDuffie following into second only to see the yellow flag out at the end of lap one for a Bryton Horner spin in turn one. Monopoli and McDuffie took off again on the restart as Danny Anderson slipped by Holmes for third spot.

Monopoli and McDuffie broke cleanly away from the field with Monopoli eventually stretching her lead to almost a full straight over McDuffie until the next caution of the race flew on lap 39 when J. R. Garcia stopped in turn two. Garcia pitted and returned but ran just one more circuit before dropping out.

Holmes slipped by Anderson for third on the restart as Monopoli again pulled away before the final caution came out on lap 46 for a turn two spin by William Kerns. Monopoli easily pulled away to take the win over McDuffie, Holmes, Brown and Anderson. Sixth place went to Jacob Nicoletti trailed by Kristin Clements, Rodney Tower, Colt Cecil, Jody Gill, Kerns, Garcia and Horner.

For Monopoli it was her third win here in the four Pro Truck races run and it earned her the 2019 track championship. The 30-year-old now has 14 track titles to her credit in her nine year racing career.

Just eight cars showed up for the Sportsman contest and the night belonged to George Gorham, Jr. who set quick time and was slated to start fourth in the feature race. The event was red-flagged almost immediately as outside pole sitter Adam Briggs had the throttle stick on his car and he slammed hard into the turn two wall. Briggs was unhurt but the same could not be said about his racer.

With Briggs out, Gorham started from the outside pole and that was all she wrote. The 50 laps ran green to checker and Gorham was easily the class of the field winning by over a full straight. Brett Jenkins was a distant second followed by Charlie Brown. Fourth was taken by Shawn Harper who finished ahead of Ross Francisco, Jamie Kennedy, Tom Zimmerman and Briggs.

Jimmy McLeod led the first two laps of the V-8 Bomber feature before Brandon Love took over looking for his second straight win. James Wright III closed in and the pair battled for several laps before coming together in turn four during the 13th lap. Love pitted with a flat right front tire and did not return to action. Wright had the top spot for the restart and sped away for his sixth win of the season. Ronnie Abney returned from a lap one flat tire to score a second place run while McLeod earned his first podium finish of the year. Bubba Healey claimed fourth ahead of Jason Sopczak, Brian Harbin, Bud Reed, Love and Danny Burchfield. Jamie Castleberry did not start. Wright also won the heat race.

Many of the V-8 Bomber drivers also entered the Pure Stock class but no one had anything for Matt McCrary. McCrary zipped by newcomer Ryan Thompson, Jr. on lap nine the raced his way to his second consecutive victory. Thompson had a fine run for second ahead of James Wright III who put his V-8 Bomber on the podium a second time on the night. Jammie Dunnahoe, Jr. had a good late run as the “Wild Child” took the checker in fourth ahead of Aaron Holmes, Bubba Healey, Jason Sopczak, Brian Harbin and Jimmy McLeod. Holmes won the heat race.

Guy Kolmel caught and passed early leader Eli Thompson on lap ten then ran off to his fifth Scrambler win of the year. Thompson held on for the runner-up spot with heat winner Fred Wilson third ahead of 11-year-old Trenton Henick, Guy Kolmel, Sr. and Bubba Healey.

Wilson Martins, Jr. got by Russell Bush on lap seven then went on to score his 7th Mini Cup victory making him the winningest driver so far this year at Auburndale Speedway. Bush held on for second over Leandro Martins, Maria Martins and Bryton Horner.

Chris Narramore, Jr. won both the Mini Stock heat and feature. For Narramore it was win number four on the year as he led David McCaig, Tav Gary and Freddy Martin to the checkered flag.

Bronson Takes First Lucas Oil Appearance at Raceway 7

CONNEAUT, OH (October 4, 2019) – Kyle Bronson took advantage of race leader Jimmy Owens’ misfortune on lap 45 and then went on to win his third career Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series race on Friday night at Raceway 7. The event is the biggest dirt late model race in 16 years at the Northeast Ohio facility and was held in front of a packed grandstand. The A-Main saw a dramatic ending as Owens’ dominance of the race came to an end after he slowed suddenly. With four laps to go he pulled pit side, ending his bid for a fifth series victory of the season. Bronson led the first nine laps of the race before yielding the lead to Owens. Upon inheriting the lead back from Owens’ misfortune, the Florida native then quickly pulled away from second-place-running Tim McCreadie to win the event. With his podium finish, McCreadie maintains second place in the Lucas Oil Championship Point Standings after coming home in the runner-up position. He was followed to the stipe by Josh Richards, Hudson O’Neal, and Jonathan Davenport. Bronson was several car lengths behind Owens when the 3-time Series Champion slowed suddenly and dropped out of the race. “These races are so tough to win. I feel terrible for Jimmy, he was the class of the field tonight. He was gone and in another zip code. Jimmy and his guys have been helping me a lot lately. I hate it for those guys as well. I knew when they said over race control McCreadie was second, that I just needed to hit my marks and take care of my race car, because he would race me clean.” In McCreadie’s post-race interview, he was grateful for another podium finish. “Once the track cleaned off in the middle, we couldn’t maneuver anymore. This is one of the smoothest tracks we have been on in a while. We brought the car home in one piece, so we should be ready for tomorrow at Pittsburgh. We finished second in our only other appearance here before (in a Big Block Modified), so I guess that’s the best we could do tonight as well. They filled nearly every seat in the grandstands tonight, so thank you to everyone who came out to support this event.” With his third-place finish, Richards managed to keep himself just behind McCreadie in the Lucas Oil Championship Point Standings. “I thought we were going to be better than we were tonight. The car was too loose at the start of the race. We had a third or fourth place car, but as the race wore on, we got better. When we got some heat in the right rear tire, we closed on McCreadie, but we didn’t have enough to pass him. We have had a lot of speed near the end of a lot of races this season, but we have just some bad breaks. The last time I was here John Gill was driving for my dad (Mark Richards), so it’s kind of neat to finally race here.” The winner’s Rocket Chassis is powered by a Durham Racing Engine and sponsored by Brandon Ford, Brandon Collision, All-Florida Real Estate Group, Racecar Engineering, Integra Shocks, VP Fuels, and Valvoline. Over $120,000 Up for Grabs in Weekend Doubleheader

BATAVIA, Ohio (October 1, 2019) – A two-day, two-race swing through Ohio and Pennsylvania this weekend will offer dirt late model teams over $120,000 in purse money. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will make their first-ever stop at Raceway 7 in Conneaut, Ohio on Friday, October 4th. The action shifts to Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, Penn. on Saturday, October 5th. Southern All Stars Head to SMS Saturday, September 28th for $7,500 to win; Also Hall of Fame Inductees (Autographs) & Points Champions

The next event at Smoky Mountain Speedway will be the final event of the 2019 season with the King of the Mountain Fall Classic on Saturday, September 28. The Southern All-Stars, Kajun Mini Stocks, limited late models, and sportsman late models will be in action. It will also be Hall of Fame Night as the newest members of the track’s hall of fame will be inducted.

The Southern All-Stars will take to the speedway competing in a one-night, $7,500 to win race. David Breazeale is the current SAS points leader over Zach Leonhardi, Riley Hickman, Billy Franklin, and Mark Dodson. Ricky Weiss won the last Southern All-Stars race at Smoky Mountain in April. Shanon Buckingham, Ricky Weiss, Vic Hill, Tommy Kerr, Ryan King, David Crabtree, and Dakotah Knuckles are just some of the drivers expected.

The Kajun Mini Stock Association returns for their second race in 2019 at Smoky Mountain Speedway. They will be racing for $1,500 to win. Tim Ladd won the previous race in March.

The limited late models will be competing in their final point race of the season for $1,200 to win. Chase King leads Austin Neely in the limited late models for the championship where drivers must have perfect attendance to be eligible for the track championship. Cory Hedgecock is second in points, but is not eligible for the championship due to missing one race to start the season.

The sportsman late models will also be racing in their final point race for $800 to win. Jed Emert holds the lead over Jake Whitehead. Jaylon Shannon, Joshua Sneed, and Bryan Cooper round out the to 5 in points. Ten drivers have had perfect attendance heading into the final race.

Halls Service Center – Tire Pros in Halls is giving a $100 bonus to the fast qualifier in all four divisions. Halls Service Center is located on Cunningham Road.

Following the limited late model and sportsman late models features, the track champions in each division will be recognized with a trophy, points money, and other contingency awards. Drivers in both divisions that competed in every race will also be recognized with points money and contingency awards.

It is also Hall of Fame Night as the 2019 class of the Smoky Mountain Speedway will be inducted into the track’s hall of fame. Jeff Purvis, Joey Standridge, Tony Presley, Sam Giles, and Roy Gibson will each be inducted during a ceremony that will take place right after qualifying and before heat race action. The approximate time is 7:45 for the ceremony. There will also be legends of the sport and current drivers on hand to sign autographs for fans from 5:00 until 6:00. Herman Goddard, Randy Bethea, and Rocky Estes are some of the legends that will meet the fans.

A number of special prizes will be available for fans throughout the evening. The fan with the dirtiest vehicle in the parking lot will win a certificate from Zip’s Car Wash for six months of unlimited car washes at any area Zip’s Car Wash location.

Pit gates will open at 2:00. Grandstand and tier parking gates will open at 3:00. The driver’s meeting is scheduled for 6:05 and hot laps will begin at 6:20.

Grandstand ticket prices are $20 for adults, kids 6-11 are $5, and children 5 and under are free. Tier parking tickets are $25 for adults, kids 6-11 are $10, and children 5 and under are free. Pit passes are $35 for adults, kids 11 and under are $15. Minors 18 and under must submit a Minor Release and Waiver of Liability form signed by parent/legal guardian. Smoky Mountain Speedway is located 12 miles south of Maryville, Tennessee. From Maryville, take Highway 411 south for 10 miles and turn left onto Brick Mill Road. Follow Brick Mill Road for approximately 2 miles, the racetrack is on the right. The first entrance is for grandstand parking. The second entrance is for tier parking and campground access. The pit entrance is the next right on Crye Road.

Summit USRA Nationals Launch Date Moved to Thursday

Rainfall on Tuesday night had track officials working around the clock to get the Hamilton County Speedway racing surface ready for practice Wednesday evening, but an afternoon downpour has forced practice to Thursday morning.

Teams wanting to practice will pit outside the track Thursday morning with the pit gate opening at 11 a.m. and practice from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Teams will be able to begin parking haulers in the infield pit area beginning at 3 p.m.

America’s best Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series racers will showcase their talents against one another this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26-28, at the 6th Annual Summit USRA Nationals hosted by the Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa.

Celebrating their 15th season of partnering with America’s best dirt tracks and the racers who compete there, the United States Racing Association’s annual fall classic will feature USRA Modifieds, American Racer USRA Stock Cars, Out-Pace USRA B-Mods and Mensink Racing Products USRA Hobby Stocks. USRA Tuners will join the card on Friday and Saturday.

The event is also the season finale in the Arnold Motor Supply Iron Man Challenge for both the American Racer USRA Stock Cars presented by Medieval Chassis and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods presented by Pace Performance.

USRA Factory Stock and USRA Limited Mod competitors will do battle at the 2nd Annual Summit USRA Southern Nationals which kicks off Halloween night at the Kennedale Speedway Park in Kennedale, Texas.

Beginning in 2014, the first three events took place at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., and then moved to Mike and Kyle Johnson’s I-35 Speedway in Winston, Mo., for the 2017 and 2018 events before finding its way to the Hamilton County Speedway this season.

Other than Mother Nature which wiped out the 2017 program, there have been no repeat champions in any division. Past Modified winners include Rodney Sanders, Darron Fuqua, Lucas Schott and Ryan Gustin. Past Stock Car winners include Dillon Anderson, Elijah Zevenbergen, Brett Heeter and Mitch Hovden. In the B-Mods, past champions include Mike Higley, Logan Martin, Chad Clancy and Kris Jackson. Previous winners in the Hobby Stock class include Eric Stanton, Cory Yeigh, Weston Koop and Tyler Schlumbohm. Tuners first appeared last season with Dakota Girard taking the win.

Each night of the 6th Annual Summit USRA Nationals will be a complete show of heat races and main events, with Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national points awarded each night. This is the only USRA-sanctioned event of the week. No track, regional points are awarded at any racetrack, and national points are awarded at the Summit USRA Nationals only from Thursday to Saturday.

Sweetening the pot for competitors is the “true car count” bonus points awarded each night. At any given event at a USRA-sanctioned racetrack in America, each driver is awarded a car count bonus for national points that is equal to that event’s car count (maximum of 24 points for car counts of 24 or more). At the Summit USRA Nationals, however, each driver will earn a car count bonus equal to the actual car count with no maximum and a minimum of 48 points regardless of car count. This could have a huge impact on the USRA national points battles in every division.

If a Summit Shootout Qualifier winner was already locked in, the second-place finisher got the spot, and so on. Each track was eligible to host up to four dates for each class.

Every day, every division and every lap of the 6th Annual Summit USRA Nationals will be broadcast live at RacinDirt.TV.

RULES & PROCEDURES: This event is sanctioned by the United States Racing Association and all USRA rules apply. USRA national points awarded each night with “true car count” bonus (minimum 48 points). All drivers must have a valid USRA license (no temps). Draw for heat race line-ups. Passing points determine line-ups for “B” Mains and “A” Mains. RACEceivers and transponders are required and will be available for rent or purchase.

ENTRY FEES: Entry fees are $100 for Modifieds, Stock Cars and B-Mods, $75 for Hobby Stocks and $25 for Tuners. Entry fee at the track on race day is double for each class.

PIT PARKING: There will be four different pit areas. The main pit area in the middle of the track has room for 150 cars. A guaranteed spot is $50 and there are 38 cement pads available for $100 for the weekend. The second pit area will be off turns 1-2. The third pit area will be on top of the hill by the horse barn. The fourth pit area will be to the east of the hill coming down to the track. We will get as many as possible in the main pit area, turns 1-2 and top of hill. The last resort will be Buxtons to the east of the hill. Spots will be marked for those that purchased them. Drivers that raced weekly have first option on pit stalls. ATV/UTV passes will be required with proof of insurance, and cost will be $50 for the weekend.

CAMPING: We have plenty of camping available with around 44 electric hook-up spots available. Two have 50-amp plugs and 42 have 30-amp plugs. Camping will be $25 per night for hookup spots and $15 for non-hookup. Camping spots must be reserved by calling (515) 832-6000. Alternatively, the Briggs Campground south of town should still be open if you do not want to stay at the track.

LODGING: We have set up a block of hotels at the AmericInn and Super 8 in Webster City if you plan on lodging during the Summit USRA Nationals (ask for Hamilton County Speedway rate). Opening in July 1910, the Hamilton County Speedway is the oldest speedway in the state of Iowa. In 1938, work began on the current location at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds. The semi-banked half-mile dirt track was completed in the spring of 1939, and the first races were held on the track in September of that year.

The Hamilton County Speedway driven by Spangler Automotive is located off US 20 at exit 140, then 1.2 miles north, then 0.5 mile east on Bank St., then 0.4 mile south on Bluff St. to the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Webster City, Iowa.
