Salem, IN – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have announced that the CRA Cabin Fever Championships scheduled for this weekend at Lucas Oil Raceway have been canceled. With a forecast of rain and possibly 3 to 5 inches of snow on Saturday and cold temperatures both days, officials decided it was in everyone’s best interest to go ahead and cancel the event.
“We apologize for any inconveniences,” remarked R.J. Scott, Managing Partner with CRA. “We truly wanted to do everything we could to get this race in with the expected high car counts, but this decision is best for everyone. We decided to go ahead and cancel the event today so people could go ahead and make other plans.”
The Event will not be rescheduled. The season opener for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman and Lawrence Towing CRA Street Stocks will now be on Saturday, April 7th at Anderson Speedway. More information on all the CRA Series is available at www.cra-racing.com.
