North Haverhill, NH (August 13, 2010): Fadden Racing announced today that 2009 FasTruck Touring Series Champion Tyler Laing will take over the seat of the No. 61 Chevrolet for this month’s NASCAR K&N Pro Series East debut at Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson, Ga.

“We’re very excited to have Tyler join us at Fadden Racing. He’s got a lot of talent and I’m really looking forward to working with him,” said Mike Olsen, owner of Fadden Racing. “I’m hoping that this race is a building block for a future relationship.”

Laing, 17, won the FasTruck title last year with two wins, five poles, and 11 top-fives in 13 starts. This season, the Davie, FL native has been focusing on running a Super Late Model at various tracks throughout the southeast. His goals include running a complete K&N Pro Series East schedule.

“The K&N Pro Series East has built a reputation for developing drivers who want to advance their career, and that is exactly my goal. Right now, we will take it one step at a time and evaluate where we want to go after our debut at Gresham Motorsports Park,” said Laing. “Fadden Racing has a proven development program so it was a natural choice to team up with him to take that next step.”

Fadden Racing is a full service race team and currently owns and prepares cars in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. Olsen, a two-time K&N Pro Series Champion, has been a driver, owner, and consultant for over 25 years and has established a strong reputation for the development of young talent.

Laing will be a teammate to Fadden Racing development driver, Julian Albarracin, who will also compete at Gresham Motorsports Park on August 28.
