OCALA, FL- Another exciting night of racing action is scheduled for Friday, April 2nd, as the official start of the championship points season gets underway at Ocala Speedway. All races run so far have been exhibition events, meaning that no points toward divisional championships were counted. Friday will mark the first points races for the Late Models, Amsoil V8 Thunder Stocks, Mini Stocks, and the Gladiators.
The extended holiday weekend will enable some racers to venture to Ocala Speedway who normally might have trouble making it in time for Friday night racing, and it presents an opportunity for some family fun at the track as well. The grandstand gate will open at 5PM with heat racing set to get underway at 8PM.
