"Determination" is the only word to describe Casey Caudill !! Almost 16 years ago, in December 1993, Casey entered this world with "Determination." Born with Spina Bifida, Casey was rushed into the operating room minutes after birth. After Casey's first operation he spent the next ten days in the ICU fighting for his life. Casey endured two more spinal cord surgeries and never lost that "Determination" and dream of becoming a race car driver.

At age 7 Casey started racing quarter midgets and by the time he was eleven he had collected over 80 feature wins. He also holds the track record at three national events. At the age of 12 Casey moved into a full size race truck powered by a 358hp Ford engine in the Fastkids series in Florida. Casey was racing with drivers from ages 12 thru 16 with twenty regular teams in the series. Casey's "Determination" at age 12 put him 5th in the Fastkids series and earned him the honor of winning "Rookie of the Year."

At the young age of 13 Casey moved into an adult truck series and progressed into the Late Model class winning 4 features and has become one of the youngest ever to win a Late Model race in Florida. At ages 14 and 15 Casey has competed in Late Model races, winning 3 events and into the ASA South Series winning 2 events. WOW that is a kid with "Determination!"

Casey brings his talent to Orlando Speedway this Friday night for the Marion Edward's Memorial 100 lap combined Late Model race and to the New Smyrna Speedway for the Solar First 100 lap combined Late Model race. Casey is proud to bring on new sponsors for these races and says, "We are so thankful for Rue & Ziffra Attorneys At Law, Pub 44 and the Spine Recovery Center to be on board as our sponsors for these races. We hope to have them come back for future races. It is a goal for me to help other people with Spina Bifida and raise money for the Spina Bifida Foundation."

The "Determination" Kid deserves a standing ovation for what he has accomplished to date and will accomplish in the future. Casey continues to work his way up the ladder to one day fulfill his dream of racing in NASCAR. With his "Determination" and talent I know he will make it !!!!
