Racing Returns to Volusia Speedway Park this Saturday Night | BARBERVILLE, FL – November 18, 2008 —
Volusia Speedway’s regular season ended early in October, but racing action returns to the South’s Fastest ˝ Mile this Saturday night, November 22. Many Central Floridians are heavily involved with the 2008 hunting season, so Volusia Speedway is offering a discount to anyone wearing camouflage on Saturday night. Come right from your favorite hunting spot to the track! Daytona Dodge Chrysler Late Models, Taylor Racing Products Sportsman, Budweiser Modifieds, UMP DIRTcar Street Stocks and Aerotec Aluminum 4-Cylinder cars fill out the action packed Gone Hunting Night program.
Winners of Saturday’s main events in the Late Model, Modified, Sportsman and Street Stock divisions are guaranteed starting spots in the December Convention Holiday Classic feature events coming up December 11, 12 and 13.
The Late Model winner will take home a $1500 check. Winners in the Modified, Sportsman and Street Stock divisions will take home $600, 500, and $300, respectively. 4-Cylinders race for $100 to win. No entry fees are required for Saturday’s racing.
All the action starts at 7:30 PM on Saturday night. Gates open at 5:00 PM. Adult admission is $12. Wear your camouflage for a $2 discount on the Adult admission price. Drive-In Parking is $10. Admission for students ages 11 to 15 is $6. Kids 10 and under will be admitted free.
