Orlando, FL (November 11, 2008) The South is going to rise this Saturday night at New Smyrna Speedway when the Manheim Auto Auctions Super Stock 50 takes to the speedway for 50 laps. The North vs the South Super Stocks will showcase the "best of the best" from New Smyrna Speedway (The North) and Orlando SpeedWorld (The South).
"With points ending Friday night at Orlando SpeedWorld, this lets the gates open for our Super Stocks to go to New Smyrna Speedway and show them just how it is done Southern Style," said Orlando SpeedWorld General Manager Rusty Marcus. "I am hoping that a good number of our guys will make the trip to New Smyrna Saturday night and show just how we do it at Orlando SpeedWorld."
"With the economy this year, very few of our guys and New Smyrna's guys have been able to go to each other tracks but points are over Friday night and this is a great opportunity to get all the Super Stocks together for one BIG 50 LAP race. The North vs. the South and hopefully the South will rise this Saturday night."
Hopefully all the fans will see not only a great Super Late Model race for 75 laps but one of the BEST Super Stocks race of the year. The ball is now in the court of the Orlando drivers to see just how many can or will try their luck at New Smyrna Speedway.
