Change in teams leads to unfortunate change in Planned Appearance | C.A.R.S. Motorsports & Racer Marketing
Orlando FL. 11-28-07 - Nascar Craftsman series driver David Starr who just recently resigned with Red Horse racing to drive the #11 Toyota again in 2008, had to cancel his planned competition in the Charity Truckers 200. Starr competed this year as a teammate to Rick Crawford and Circle Bar racing, and has planned to compete in this year version of the Charity Truckers 200. With the return to the team he had such a good year with in 2006, comes sponsor and testing commitments that were already planned.
" I really hate to have to cancel my appearance at Rick Bristol's promoted Charity event, I enjoyed myself so much last year and really was looking forward to competing against Florida's top pro-truck drivers. I hope that everyone will remember the real reason you will be there and that is to help little Kaleigh and the Helmick family. I want you all to know we wish you all the best as you race and as you give of yourselves to help this family. My apologies again for having to cancel, I hope to be able to come to the 3rd Annual event schedule willing" stated David Starr.

David is excited to be back with Red Horse Racing and is looking forward to competing again in the #11 Toyota, but he feels very bad that these things came up and will keep him from coming. I know that the drivers, fans and crews will understand and will be there to support the Helmicks. I talked with David and could feel the concern in his voice, I assured him that we understood and appreciated his desire to help. David will also be getting married the first week of January, so he has a lot on his plate right now. I wish him the best in his new marriage and in his return to Red Horse and Toyota in 2008" said Bristol.
We hope everyone will come and support this great event, and the Helmick Family. If you have any questions or concerns you can reach Rick Bristol at 407-497-0448.
