Biscayne Roofing steps up more to Title Sponsor the Charity Truckers 200 Event

Orlando FL 10-4-2007 - Biscayne Roofing which had signed on to be the race sponsor, has stepped up even more to now be the Event sponsor. " I am so grateful to Mr. Laing for going the extra mile to help the Helmicks and this great event" stated promoter Rick Bristol.

The event and race will now be the 2nd Annual Charity Truckers 200 Weekend presented by Biscayne Roofing. The race is the Biscayne Roofing Charity Truckers 200. The event will feature Tampa Bay Truck Wash Pole Night Friday December 14th. Pole qualifying for the Biscayne Roofing Charity Truckers 200, Pole qualifying for the Ramm Transport State Championship for the Kids Trucks, as well as races featuring the DeSoto Champ Karts, Daytona Antique Racing Association, Mini-Cups and a Strictly Stock $500 winner take all event sponsored by Webb's Commercial Services. Friday pit gates open at 10 a.m. for truck parking 11 a.m. for the other divisions, qualifying and racing at 7 p.m.
After the event a BBQ and music will take place in the pits.

Saturday will feature a huge autograph session at 5:15 - 6:15, pre-race ceremonies at 6:30. The first event of the evening at 7 p.m.will be the Ramm Transport Kids Truck State Championship 35, then the legends do battle for 30 laps. Then the main attraction, the biggest short track truck race in the country goes green at 8:30 p.m. in the Biscayne Roofing Charity Truckers 200. Nascar Craftsman Truck series driver David Starr will be in competition in this years event, that is if he qualifies for the field. 32 Trucks will start the 200 lap grind, which will feature a half way break of 15-20 minutes on the front stretch Bandolaro track where crews will be able to change two tires, fuel the truck and make some adjustments. Pits will open Saturday at 8 a.m.

The top truck drivers in the Sunshine state will be battling in this big event that helps raise funds for little baby Kaleigh Helmick and her parents. Kaleigh has a rare heart disease and her family has lost their home and had to file bankruptcy to try to keep up with mounting medical bills. All the profits of this event will go to that family. There are also t-shirts available for $12.00 or two for $20.00, they will be up on the site soon and will be sold at the event.

Come take part in this great event. Grandstand tickets will be $10.00 Friday night, $20.00 Saturday night of if you buy a Saturday ticket you will get in Friday for just $5. Pit passes will be $25.00 each day.

All truck drivers and legend car drivers we will be using the raceiver system, and transponders. Legends you have yours. Truck drivers it will be $25.00 for the weekend for both. Spotters will wear the raceiver this year.
