Orlando, Fla. (August 7, 2007) Super Late Models at Orlando SpeedWorld are in for a treat this Friday night with an increased purse and qualifying for a 35 lap event all courtesy of TMR, sponsor of the No. 88 Super Late Model driven by David Pollen, Jr.
TMR, Trademark Metal Recycling, is the largest metal recycler in the Southeast with a Corporate office in Tampa. Trademark Metals Recycling is a wholly owned venture of Cincinnati-based The David J. Joseph Company, one of the largest USA scrap metal companies. Headquartered in Tampa in February 1998 to better serve regional customers. The parent company was formed in 1885 and has a rich history and a wealth of experience behind it.
--Advertisement--  There are 17 scrap locations including 4 automobile shredders and one municipal shredder. TMR buys, sells and processes automobiles, aluminum, cooper, steel/aloys, appliances, sheet iron, industial discards, and all grades of ferrous and nonferrous metals. In 2002 a 7,000 hp Texas Shredder was installed at the Tampa Port facility which can produce 25 - 30,000 tons per month, double the amount of the previous shredder.
David Pollen, Jr. will be behind the wheel of the TMR sponsored Super Late Model along with his father David Pollen, Sr. behind the wheel of another Super Late Model. David Pollen, Jr. is only two points behind Jared Allison of Cocoa in the points championship for the Super Late Model division at Orlando SpeedWorld.
Qualifying for the Super Late Model feature will begin at 7 p.m., Friday, August 10 at SpeedWorld. A large crowd is expected for Friday night's show which begins at 8 p.m. with grandstands opening at 6 p.m.
