Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s 1997 Wheaties Car to Appear at Crash-A-Rama for Children's Raffle | by Jane Smith
Orlando, Fla. (June 14, 2007) Not only will fans be treated to one of their favorite bi-annual events tomorrow night at Orlando SpeedWorld with the world famous Crash-A-Rama, but they will also have a chance to see a Dale Earnharrdt Sr. car which is being raffled off for charity. Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s 1997 Wheaties car has been donated to be raffled off to benefit Edgewood Children's Ranch in Orange County and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The raffle tickets are $20.00 each and a winner will be announced September 1, 2007.
The car can be seen this Friday night at Orlando SpeedWorld in the granstand area along with a real live panther and a stream of beaufiul girls. Next Friday night, the car will actually be driven around Orlando SpeedWorld for all the fans to see and be filmed for a television commercial for the charity event.
"Everyone dreams of having a piece of their hero and this is a great way to make money for the Edgewood Children's Ranch and Make-A-Wish," said General Manager of Orlando SpeedWorld Rusty Marcus. When I got the call from Billy Payne of B&A Auto Sales here in Orlando, I did not hesitate to help him with his request."
"Just think, you could have a real racecar in your garage driven by the number one driver in NASCAR and better yet, you will be helping many children which is something we all need to do," he concluded.
Be sure to stop by and check out the car, the beautiful girls and of course the panther in the grandstand area at SpeedWorld Friday night. And if you feel lucky and want to help support the Edgewood Children's Ranch and Make-A-Wish Foundation, buy one of those raffle tickets.
You never know, you could be the lucky winner of the Dale Earnhardt Sr. 1997 Wheaties Car.
